Beautiful place. Perfect for group of 11. We took some equipment with us (toasted sandwich maker and airfryer) which eased reliance on the provisions to cater for 11, although found it to be a well equipped kitchen. Also games provided in the house. Kate was so helpful and easy to communicate with. A kayak, or maybe both, was cracked and letting in water, no plug in one base. Managed ok because adults/strong swimmers but important to be aware for others. Friendly locals chatting while we sat by lake and enjoyed watching their dogs play.
Stayed at by the lake @ Smiths for two nights for a work trip. Lovely place with plenty of room and a stunning outlook. Close to a great cafe (Frothy's) down the way too for morning coffee. Kate the manager was excellent and a pleasure to deal with.
Loved our stay.
Spacious, clean and comfortable. Kids swam and played cricket. We used Kyaks and paddle boards, and caught a lot of fish just from the bank of the lake. We were able to launch our boat once and it proved a perfect spot for tubing, and fishing.
Loved it so much we booked again, but for longer.

Excelant Property
The property was spotlessly clean! We found the property was extremely well equipped. We especially liked that there were sharp knives, good quality non-stick pots and pans, instead of the cheap stainless stuff one usually finds, plus there were lots of serving bowls, glassware etc. The kayaks were an added bonus.
We stay at perhaps 10 holiday let places a year, and this is one of the best equipped ones we have stayed at. The only suggestion would be to have wifi internet connected

The location is ideal, the lake and the proximity were stunning, the kitchen is well appointed. However, the property requires maintenance, the gutters are full of debris and overflow with rain, the toilet door gets stuck securing the user with in, downstairs there is a significant damp problem, pillows in the wardrobes are mouldy. The Televisions are difficult to use to the point we gave up. The kayaks provided did a good job at sinking. The property states it sleeps 12 there are only 10 beds - there is a sofa bed down stairs - sleeping on the tile floor would have been more comfortable. The balcony railing was attached to the decking boards and was wobbly . Given the price of the property and the fact I had to pay extra for the children despite there being no linen supplied I expected more.
We had a lovely long weekend here and nothing to fault with the property or management. Kate was always contactable, property was clean and the kitchen was well-equip. Unfortunately it was a bit wet during our stay so we couldn’t head down to the lake, however it would be perfect in better weather. Highly recommend this property.
Great house and position! Teens loved the access to kayaking!
A lovely area to drive around to and go exploring! Thanks
*Sink in bottom bathroom slow to drain!
Our stay was nice, very relaxing location. House was comfortable.
Tv down stairs didn’t work which was annoying as it would of been good to set the kids up with a movie at night down there. Also some essential like tea, sugar and milk would have been nice for arrival.
Overall trip was good, would do it again at a better time of year next time.
Thanks
The house is in a wonderful little village by the lake. The pictures provided of the house are accurate. Loved the layout of the place. Sunset every day over the lake is gorgeous. Access to and from the lake is easy enough although on a slope and the ground was very damp/muddy from all the rain we’ve been having. A minor problem though.
Peaceful area and the cafe boat-shed nearby is wonderful.
If it’s a quiet week(end) you need then this will do it.
Our family absolutely loved the house and having the lake right in the backyard. Being able to walk down to the lake several times a day was wonderful and the view from the home is just beautiful! We didn’t have the best weather, so that put a damper on our stay, but we tried to make the most of it and overall enjoyed our stay.
A lovely, spacious house with lots of room for the family. Well equipped kitchen and great balcony overlooking the lake. Our kids loved the kayaks. All up, a wonderful stay.
Would have been a great place for our Christmas break Unfortunately our family were not able to come and stay due to COVID restrictions so we returned to Sydney early after just 3 days!
As you walk into the house your eyes are drawn to the views of the trees and lake. Comfortable beds, spacious living area and 2 great kayaks to use as well. Be mindful that there are quite a few stairs to get from the house to the lower floor and a steep walk down to the lake.
What an awesome location & property. The house was everything we'd hoped for and more but the location was unbelievable. Boating, skiing, tubing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding from the back yard followed by drinks on the deck as we watched the sun set over the lake was pretty special. Can't wait to book another long weekend there.
Exceeded all expectations by far.
Kate (property manager) met us at the house and gave us all the information about the place and the area.
The house was really big and accommodated 2 adults and 5 kids extremely well (extra space if needed).
The lake is literally at the back door and the views from the house is awesome.
The kitchen is very well stocked with all your needs and high quality crockery for cooking (new bbq).
Excellent location with lots of beaches very close by. The kayaks were used all the time by the kids. Swimming in the lake is okay, however there are jelly fish. Kayak out a bit and it’s fine to swim.
I would go back in a flash without any doubts.
I highly recommend this house to all. Can’t fault our stay.
