Enjoy this absolute waterfront property with a range of aquatic activities from your very own private fenced backyard, pull the boat up onto the back lawn or take a short walk down to Frothy Coffee Boatshed, and hire one of their boats/kayaks!
'Ripples on Smiths' offers the most spectacular, sweeping long views of the lake from the wide deck upstairs, patio downstairs and all living areas. With its lawns gently sloping down to the water's edge, 'Ripples' provides ideal waterfront access.
From the moment you walk through the front door, you will find yourself in 'holiday mode'. With its open-plan coastal style living area overlooking expansive views, floor to ceiling glass doors leading on to a wide covered deck that spans the length of the house. The outdoor covered deck area has been newly equipped with fans for summer and outdoor heaters for winter. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, encompassing a self contained air conditioned studio with separate lounge area, bathroom, kitchenette and covered patio. The property boasts a fully functional brand new kitchen, as well as 2 newly renovated bathrooms.
'Ripples on Smiths' is the perfect place to stay; whether you are looking for a relaxing or romantic weekend away from your usual busy routine or wanting a great place to take the kids, where they will have easy access to the water in their very own backyard.
You will find all that you need at 'Ripples', including the use of 3 kayaks and 3 paddleboards and use of lifejackets. Wearing a PFD (personal flotation device) on the lake is mandatory, whilst kayaking/canoeing/ boating. Please visit the NSW Maritime website for more information. Surfing beaches are only minutes away with a choice of many - Blueys, I Boomerang, Elizabeth, Shelly, together with the beautiful Cellito and Sandbar Beaches with 4WD access. Visit Cellito Beach Littoral Rainforest Boardwalk, which is a short 200 metre walk through a coastal rainforest to the beach at the other end.
At the end of the day sit on your choice of deck and relax with your favourite beverage and watch the lake and its ever changing colours; as the sun sets on the day...a truly breathtaking sight.

My family and I (and our doggie) had a wonderful stay at Leanne and Phillip's beautiful Smiths Lake home by the lake. The house was sparkling clean and had everything you could need and more. We loved the open split level design of the house, spacious lounge and living areas and the self contained studio downstairs. The fenced yard was perfect for the kids and our dog and the views were absolutely spectacular. A beautiful, well thought out and comfortable home, in a stunning location, with great hosts - we will be back!

The house was spotless and everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The setting with direct lake access resulted in immediate relaxation and the sunsets were incredible. Our dog enjoyed his lakeside morning walks and chasing his ball into the water. The fenced grass area was an added bonus.The provision of paddle boards and kayaks meant these didn't need to be transported. Together with the outdoor games, well provisioned kitchen and large terrace didn't leave us wanting for anything.A wonderful stay - one we hope to repeat.

Amazing getaway in a slice of the north coast paradise!

Beautiful Spot!

The house was the cleanest rental home we have ever stayed in… beautiful view, very comfortable outdoor area, well appointed kitchen and lots of games and things to do as a family. We kayaked to coffee and taught our dog to paddleboard in the lake. Lots of fun and memories made for our family. Host was very responsive to messages.

Great setting for a family vacation

We had 4 generations with plenty of spare room and space for everyone to relax. Great views and good access to the Lake. Good quality watercraft- the grandkids nominated the paddle boards as their favourite activity, but also we all enjoyed doing the Great Australia bird count, playing bananagrams and fishing. Hosts very helpful especially when we accidentally locked keys inside. Very handy to a range of good surf beaches. Kitchen well appointed

Lakeside Love!

Ripples at Smiths Lake was all and more our family needed for a beautiful week away. The property is stunning in design, soace with complete lake front. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and the relaxing inside and outside spaces. Access to the lake provides instant connection to nature and all the adventure options including canoeing and stand up paddle boarding. The decor, lighting and ammenities are immaculate and deeply appreciated for a multi-day stay. A truly lovely family home that nurtures and rejuvenates the soul. We will be back again for sure! Stunning Smiths Lake

We stayed for 4 nights at Ripples Lake House. 3 adults, 8 year old twins, and one (spoilt) mini schnauzer. The house was beautifully presented and catered for all our needs. The owners have taken a great deal of care when presenting this property resulting in a wonderful ambience felt by all. It is also fully fenced, making it safe for both children and pets to play. There were even kayaks for us to use, which were brilliant. The location is second to none, with stunning uninterrupted views of the lake. Only 10-15 minutes drive away from a selection of beaches. We would love to return to further explore all this area offers and we would definitely stay at Ripples again. The owners were warm, thoughtful and very helpful. Highly recommend. The twins totally enjoyed their holiday - Monique rated the house 500% and Pippa said "it's the best ever" Thank you again from all of us
