For those wanting to enjoy still waters instead of the open ocean, Smiths Lake is the number one choice in the Pacific Palms area. Shrouded by a lush littoral forest and neatly separated from the sea by Sandbar Beach, this is a family favourite for those eager to enjoy a spot of water-skiing, boating, paddling or windsurfing (the open lake waters making for a windsurfers dream!). With an impressive catchment area spanning 32 square kilometres and waterways of 11 square kilometres you can enjoy all the benefits of this unique, tucked-away calm waterway. However, should you feel a pull for the waves, the picturesque Cellito Beach can be accessed via a boardwalk at the northern end of Sandbar Beach.

Nice stay

The property has great size for a big family. The location is quite but closed to local shop. It's great for all season. The sauna is bonuses. We also enjoyed the outdoor entertainment area with the fireplace during cold weather. It isabsolutely dog friendly. They can enjoy the outdoor and indoor area. It's easy to keep clean with fully hard floor board.

Sunset at Sandbar had an amazing view from the deck which has an additional fridge and large BBQ. Some furniture has been updated from the photo's which is nice. Kitchen very well equipped for cooking meals. Fairly steep driveway to access the property and to get to the water also down a slight hill. The second bathroom is located down an outside staircase and not in the actual house. Sunsets were lovely , enjoyed our stay.

A quiet and relaxing escape

We had a delightful long weekend getaway in this wonderful property overlooking beautiful Smiths Lake. From the moment we entered we felt relaxed, with the open plan living drawing you immediately to the balcony and the captivating view beyond. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with a glass of wine, reading a book sitting by the lake and letting our dog Ryder go for a paddle. The property is well equipped (wonderful that they supplied kitchen staples like foil, salt and pepper and oil - thank you!). The fully enclosed yard was great for security for our dog and allowed us to relax all the more. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Fantastic

Lovely set up house right on the lake. Check in was a breeze, house was clean. The fireplace came in very handy on the cold afternoons allowing us to enjoy the view of the the lake which is just metres away. The ducted heating was great, keeping the house cosy. The open plan living flows very well. We will stay again!

Ahhh the serenity!

Right on the lake, magnificent views and easy access to the lake. Outdoor setting could do with a clean but the property overall was great. Very spacious and plenty of space to spread out and chill while enjoying the view. The extra outdoor fridge was very handy for drinks. Beds were comfy. Would recommend
