Gentry's Rest Stop is your one-stop vacation playground! With great motorcycle access, this private, air conditioned home is the finest around for large family reunions or shared vacations, yet intimate enough for two. Firewood is on-site at no charge for winter guests for the fireplace, you can bring or purchase your own in town for the firepit, and the 8-person hot tub in its own private setting is just the ticket after a day of sightseeing or fun-filled activities. Children are more than welcome here, and there are many board games to choose from and a video library that boasts over 200 DVD's! Everything's included in the kitchen with a variety of spices as well. Outdoors there is badminton, horseshoes, firepit, picnic table, 2 grills one gas and one charcoal grill, as well as hiking trails and a walking bridge across Jonathan Creek right in the backyard! Sleds are provided in winter for fun-filled activities and there is a 20x30 covered porch for the exclusive enjoyment of our guests. Very easy access year round. Guests have horseback riding, snow skiing and both water & snow tubing in town.
ALSO AVAILABLE is a separate 3 bedroom/2 bath cabin ON SITE, ON THE CREEK!!! This cabin will either accommodate an overflow group from the 'Big House' or just an intimate and cozy cabin for up to 6 guests. It has it's own separate hot tub. Please email for rates and availability!
WANT TO KNOW MORE?: Gentry's Rest Stops 1&2 are professionally decorated by the owner, a well known interior designer, in a charming country décor and the outside has also been lovingly tended for picture-taking for your memory books. Four-season and holiday decorations contribute to the coziness of the home and children love to view some of the local wildlife close up that is part of the area. Gentry's have their own 'resident' elk, aptly named Bullwinkle, who actually comes to visit occasionally and loves to pose for pictures! Raccoon and squirrels scoot among the trees as well as hummingbirds, butterflies and fireflies at night. Guests are well taken care of as the Gentry's live on-site and are available to supply your every need should one arise. When you arrive you will notice your quarters are on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the home with your own separate access. The Gentry's are mindful of your seclusion and separateness and you can be assured your privacy is guaranteed. There's plenty of parking for vehicles and if you want to trailer your motorcycle or ATV, there is more than enough room for turn-arounds on the gravel driveway. Easy access all year and ATV and motorcycle enthusiasts will find many trails to explore. Please see our website for more photos and information.
