Stay in a beautifully restored 1840s barn in Ravenna, Ohio, designed for unforgettable group getaways. With space designed for large gatherings, a private pond, a year-round hot tub, and a full sports court, this Northeast Ohio retreat is ideal for family reunions, celebration weekends, and Kent State visits. Just minutes from Ravenna and an easy drive to Akron, Cleveland & Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

We live just down the road and work on the property in our spare time. Our team handles the maintenance and management with as little interruption to guests as possible. Routine outdoor maintenance for the property is typically scheduled after 10 am for lawn, pond, hot tub, firewood, etc. Hot tub maintenance is communicated with guests in advance.

The Barn on Evergreen Pond blends original 1840s architecture with modern comfort across more than 3,000 square feet of living space. Soaring 13-foot ceilings, exposed barn beams, and multiple gathering areas make it one of the most unique large-group vacation rentals in Northeast Ohio.
The layout is designed for connection, shared meals, game nights, and outdoor evenings, while still offering privacy across three levels.

The Barn is thoughtfully designed for large gatherings, with sleeping arrangements ideal for 20 guests. We provide all bed linens, extra pillows, blankets, and hangers, plus room-darkening shades in the bedrooms to ensure a restful night.

Main Floor (Step-Free Access)
- Main Floor Suite: 1 King bed + 1 Queen sleeper sofa (private ensuite full bath).

Upper Level
- Fieldside Bedroom: 2 King beds + 2 Twin beds (private ensuite full bath with bathtub).
- Pondside Bedroom: 2 King beds + 2 Twin-over-Twin bunk beds (private ensuite full bath with bathtub).

Walk-Out Basement
- Lower Level Bedroom: King bed + twin convertible chair.
- Additional Sleeping: Twin memory-foam rollaway beds available in the rec room.
- Bath/Laundry: Full bathroom with a bathtub, plus an in-unit washer and dryer (iron and ironing board provided).

Pack light! We provide high-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in every bathroom. Each space is stocked with a hair dryer (under the sink) and a full supply of fresh towels and toilet paper sufficient for your entire stay.

🍽️ Kitchen & Dining Built for Gathering
The fully equipped kitchen is the heart of the home, featuring soaring 13' ceilings, original barn beams, and a custom 10-foot maple dining table seating 10–12. Whether hosting a graduation brunch or a reunion dinner, you’ll find everything you need:

- Appliances: Double ovens, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, and full-size refrigerator (plus a second fridge in the basement).
- Coffee & Tea Bar: Drip brewer, K-Cup machine, tea, creamers, and a 45-cup urn perfect for large groups. A hot water kettle is also provided.
- Cooking & Serving: Gas griddle, baking sheets, farmhouse sink, and a comprehensive collection of serving platters, bowls, and wine glasses sized to accommodate maximum guest counts.
- Pantry: Stocked with spices, oils, flour, sugar, and baking essentials.

The Barn overlooks a private 1/3-acre recreational pond. Guests may enjoy:
- 3 kayaks and 1 paddle boat.
- Floating dock for swimming.
- Catch-and-release fishing (gear not included).
- Life jackets provided.
- Note: All water activities are at your own risk.

🔥 Outdoor Living, Patio & Sport Court
Step outside to a large patio area designed for entertaining, featuring comfortable outdoor furniture and a year-round hot tub with tub-side bar seating. (Future Note: A covered pavilion for the patio is coming in April 2026)
- The Grounds: Large fields perfect for football or soccer, plus a natural fire pit with seating and string lighting.
- Lawn Games: Cornhole and croquet provided.
- Sport Court (Shared): Access to a full-size court for Basketball, Tennis, and Pickleball (shared with the neighboring Evergreen Retreat). Basic equipment, including balls and paddles, is included.

The Barn is frequently chosen for family reunions, graduation weekends near Kent State, retreats, and intimate weddings.
- Events must be pre-approved. Fees may apply.
- Parking at The Barn accommodates approximately 15 vehicles. Larger vehicle capacity is available when booking the combined Evergreen Acres listing.
- Guests manage catering/rentals.

🐶 Dog-Friendly
Dogs are welcome with prior approval ($150 for the first dog, $50 per additional dog).

Perfect for regional gatherings, we are positioned just 5 minutes off the I-80/Tollway—roughly 30 to 45 minutes from Akron and Cleveland, and within easy reach of Youngstown and Pittsburgh

ℹ️ Additional Notes
- Check-in: Private entrance with keypad self-check-in.
- Primary guest must be at least 25 years old and present for the duration of the stay.
- EV Charger/RV: An EV charger (50A level 2 Universal charger; Tesla owners need to bring an adapter) or RV hookup may be available; please contact us for explanation and availability.
- Maintenance: To keep the estate in peak condition, routine spa and lawn care typically occurs after 10:00 AM. We prioritize your privacy.
- Security: Exterior cameras monitor entry points and the driveway.

Early Check-In & Late Check-Out Policy:
To ensure the home is properly prepared for each guest, late check-outs are not possible. Early check-ins are not available during the summer months. During the winter season, early check-in may be considered upon special request and is subject to availability. We appreciate your understanding as this helps us maintain the highest standards for every stay.
