Studio apartment on the ground level with spacious patio in front, surrounded by a lovely garden. The kitchenette offers all equipment which you need during a longer stay.
A kingsize bed ( which can be changed into 2 TWN beds if you tell us ahead) , seating area, dining table, TV, DVD and lots of videos and books , garden furniture and BBQ.
Wake up with the song of the Tui and hear the Morporc at night or even a Kiwi.
We can provide your first Breakfast item if you wish so.

That room with private entrance has a Queensize bed, dining table in and outside on the Balcony, private bathroom with shower and bathtub, Breakfast making facilities(no cooking), no TV but a beautiful view down to the Bay towards Waitangi. For shorter stays recommended.

A very welcoming host

This batch was perfect for our short stay. It was clean and very well presented. The garden was lovely and we were able to relax in comfort. The pigeon in the tree was entertaining! Annie our host was incredibly helpful and could not have been more welcoming. We loved this place.

My late husband and I have been sailing half around the world ( with a 14 years stop-over in Tahiti and its islands) to find this quiet place in the heart of the Bay of Islands.
My husband offered our Boat" Kleiner Baer II" for charter and I managed a small resort hotel on Moorea. We purchased Aimeo Cottage in 1991 and have enjoyed hosting guests from all over the world since 1992.
I like swimming, sailing, golfing, gardening, reading, good food and wine together with friends. I would be happy to welcome you here at the Aimeo!

Why they chose this property

The property is close to a beach for swimming, very quiet, beautiful setting with a view to the Bay of Islands. In an only 8 minutes drive you are in the historic Village of Russell. With a very well equipped Supermarket, very interesting Museum, Pompallier House and French Café, the oldest still working church, beautiful Long Beach and splendid Look Out from the Flagstaff.
Russell offers several Restaurants in different price categories.
In a short stroll around here in Okiato you find the site of the first New Zealand Government.
