Mt Buller Base Camp is comfortable home away from home in Sawmill Settlement equipped with all you need for a relaxing stay or as a base for your mountain adventure.

It features an open plan living space incorporating kitchen, living and dining areas all surrounded by a outdoors deck area. There is a large loft rumpus space which is a great place for the kids to hang out. There is also a dry room designed to take all your ski gear.

Mt Buller Base Camp is only a stones throw from the the base of Mount Buller and Mount Stirling and a short drive from Mansfield. Its position gives you unlimited options of all that the high country has to offer all year round. Choose from Mountain Biking, 4WDriving, Motor Bike Riding, Fishing, Skiing and Boarding, Hiking, Horse Riding or just relax and enjoying the local gourmet food and vineyards.

Everything you need and comfortable

This was perfect for our snow trip to Mt Buller. Great drying room just inside the front door for wet gear. The fully stocked fireplace was toasty and heaters in each room if you need a top up. An upstairs getaway for teens, but steep staircase, so not ideal for younger ones. I couldnt have asked for anything more for what we needed.

The owners were extremely helpful, the house is just perfect for a family and plenty of space for everyone. Not to mention the spa wow just beautiful. The accessories in there was everything you need for your perfect holiday. Thanks Adam we will definitely be back 👌🏽😀

Beautiful Holiday Home

The property is set in an absolutely beautiful backdrop of nature! Driving up we were already mesmerised by the outside, but walking inside made it even better. The house has a wonderful energy to it and is set up with everything you could need for a wonderful getaway. We were two families of 3 each with 2 kids under 10, and the 3 bedroom place was absolutely perfect for us. The girls especially enjoyed the attic where we set up our projector and watched a couple of movies. Space for us all 😊 Communication with Adam was an absolute breeze. He was very prompt with his responses and accommodated our special request with much ease. All in all we have had a wonderful holiday which is what we absolutely needed. Thank you Adam and Kristi, we shall visit again.

needs some maintenance on the Air con and the TV was unreliable which was annoying but otherwise it was a good house. Spacious and had everything we needed. Good for families, upstairs area is great and although stairs are very steep the kids managed. nice court for the kids to play in and ride bikes. Great communication throughout the whole booking.

Communication with landlord was excellent. House was extremely clean and accommodated 9 people very comfortably. Access to Mt. Buller was fantastic, so close to the mountain. Mansfield was a short drive and a fabulous day out with the kids.

Great weekend away

Perfect location for a weekend ski trip, we all had such a great stay. Loved that there was everything we needed for the kids as well. Hosts were excellent and went above and beyond when I realized I had lost items in the house after checkout. Highly recommend.

Great off-mountain accommodation for Mount Buller

Mount Buller Base Camp is a great location if you are wanting to stay off mountain when skiing Mount Buller. House was clean, well equipped and a good set up for a 5 day stay for 2 families. The loft provided a great area and space for the children to hang out. The drying room is a fantastic bonus especially as we had wet, damp days at Buller. The owner was very easy to get hold of and dealt with our enquiries and changes promptly.

Four friends stayed here for a weekend on the snow. The house was fully equipped, spacious, clean and tidy. We drove up the mountain but Adam did send on the link for the season shuttle service. Brilliant communication before and throughout!!

Beautiful clean property conveniently located at the base of Mt Buller. Enjoyed a wonderful week here in lovely surroundings with King Parrots and 3 really cute kookaburras who visited us every day. Adam the owner was very helpful and answered all my questions promptly. Would most definitely recommend!

Very good accommodation for a bunch of people going up to the snow. Comfy and pretty well equipped.

Good accommodation, and drying room is excellent- enough room to put all that wet stuff after a day skiing. The fire/heater make the place warm and inviting in the evening. One drawback is it providing your own linen particularly if you are travelling from interstate. We (4 of us) enjoyed our stay.

A lovely property so close to Mount Buller. Heating is amazing and very spacious!

We had a great stay here! The owners are super helpful and hospitable, allowing for phone calls about anything to do with the property. The property is also so close to the entrance of Mount Buller. There is also a bus stop to get picked up to get to the top of Mount Buller just a 5 minute walk away which we found super convenient. Great place tot stay and would highly recommend. All you need to bring is linen, towels and food if you wanted to eat inside.

Happy home away from home

Really enjoyed our stay at Mt Buller Base Camp, the house was comfortable and well set out. The location meant that you could do walks/rides from your door or just a short drive away.
