Cosy quarters in a great location with an absolutely stunning vista.
The cosy little home perched on the slope overlooking the wharf at Alonnah has incredible views capturing Satellite and Huon islands and Dover and Gordon in the distance. It made for a perfect quarters for spending some quality time with my brother and dad. The proximity to hotel Bruny is great. We were just there for a quick overnight stay but the property would make for a perfect base from which to explore the island.
Very clean and well kept. Kitchen had most items commonly used. Very large deck at rear with extensive water views which would be great on a warm evening. Two bunk beds in the second bedroom mean a family of six could stay here comfortably. Quiet location and convenient to explore Adventure Bay and all places south of Allonah.
Thanks so much, really enjoyed our stay. Exactly as described and the view was fabulous. A shame we weren’t there long enough to explore the area. Very comfortable and clean.
Great Place to Stay and Relax on Bruny Island and a great host.
Wonderful, uninterupted views across the water from the undercover deck, living area/kitchen and main bedroom, its hard for photos to do these views justice. Alonnah is the best place to stay on Bruny Island and this property is in a great location, very close to the water, short walk to the hotel, short drives to the main attractions like the wonderful winery, get shucked oysters, cheese and beer factory, bread box, and the neck viewing platform and adventure bay. The house has plenty of room inside and outside, a very good layout, easy access with good facilities. The host is just fantastic with excellent communication and very helpful with things relating to Bruny Island. I would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back to Bruny.
The house was very comfortable. It was nice to go for walks along the beach and swims and then return home to relax on the deck. Easy access to all things in the island.

Great home on the water with everything you need!
We spent the long weekend at Beachcomber and very much enjoyed our stay. We found the house to have everything we needed for our short stay, and the owner lit the fire for us prior to our arrival, which was a nice touch! Waterfront location was top notch!
Very happy with the property. Absolutely perfect for our needs. The house was very clean and the bed very comfortable. We really enjoyed the magnificent view.
The house overlooks a wonderful bay over to the mountains. Perfect for sitting on the deck, it's quick walk to the clear water for a cooling swim.
The kitchen is well appointed. A simple, comfortable no fuss house to explore Bruny island from.
