Kinfauns is a perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy. It is a stunning architect designed house designed around a contemporary interpretation of traditional rural style, with a strong emphasis on relaxation, comfort and convenience, nestled in the beautiful natural environment of Yallingup Hills. Connection to the outside enables visitors to be immersed in the natural environment whether inside or outside with regular visits from kangaroos and many birds of the diverse bird life of the southwest of Western Australia.
Kinfauns is very well appointed with WiFi connection.
The main house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The centerpiece is the open plan living, dining, kitchen area. Spacious and beautifully appointed featuring a living area with TV, DVD and Bose entertainment system, eco fire open fireplace, expansive dining table and fully equipped kitchen with a chefs stove and double oven. Wide sliding doors open onto a large alfresco deck with an electrolux BBQ, perfect for relaxing and entertaining.
The house is designed around passive solar heating and cooling, but also has ceiling fans and reverse cycle air conditioning throughout.
A self contained Guest Suite sleeping two people, with bathroom, lounge, TV, DVD, and kitchenette with reverse cycle air conditioning is also available as additional accommodation at an additional cost.
Kinfauns is conveniently located a few minutes walk between Petra and Yallingup Wood Fired Bakery, five minutes drive from Yallingup General Store and less than 10 minutes drive from Dunsborough. Only a few minutes away from the many wineries, restaurants, bush walking trails, bike trails, beaches and surf spots of the region.
Kinfauns is a place to stay and enjoy or venture from and return to relax.

Home Away From Home

This is our 4th stay at this beautiful place we just love coming down for our Annual Girls Getaway. You want for nothing here everything is supplied it’s walk in relax and enjoy. Beds are comfy, toiletries on point with the gorgeous Vasse Virgin supplied. Thank you Sue we love coming down and will be booking again for next year.

A yallingyup treat!

Great property that felt like a real getaway being in amongst the kangaroos and pretty trees. Loved the outdoor fire place and closeness to Dunsborough and Yallingyup. Will be back!

This house is fabulous. Very clean and with all the cooking bits and pieces you require. The location is great, float enough to Dunsborough for groceries, and also close enough to many nice places to eat. Yallingup beach is 12 minutes away. Enough lawn for a little game of cricket, and so many native animals for us to watch. We will be back!

The Magic of Kinfaus

A spectacular and unique house, in a truly Australian setting. The host was extremely helpful and generous, adding many little extras that made our stay even more memorable. From a huge range of art and craft activities to sporting equipment and board games, we were never short of fun. The house is well balanced with many peaceful spaces to relax and enjoy the scenery. It feels luxurious but also homely and interesting at the same time. We’ll certainly be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A Wonderful Stay

This is our second stay at Kinfauns and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. My wife & I and our 2 adult daughters occupied 3 of the 4 bedrooms. The house is immaculate with comfortable beds and bed linen, really well stocked pantry and quality kitchen appliances, crockery, cooking utensils and furniture. Netflix streaming through a Bose sound system is an added bonus. In short, we didn't want for anything. Kinfauns is a credit to the Host. Great communication and check-in was a breeze. Thank you Sue for a wonderful stay and we look forward to our next visit.

Hard to beat

I'm a little bit tempted to give an average review just so less people know about it but that would be wrong:) I stayed there with a bunch of mates, and it was literally flawless. The house is lovely and the property is stunning. The owners clearly have great taste. Great location, good beds, showers, amenities etc. I could go on but anyway I'd give it 6 out of 5.

We had a wonderful stay at Kinfauns with lots of animals visiting the yard, including a mother duck and her 13 ducklings. The house was perfect, the kitchen had everything we needed and the setting soothes the soul with the peace and quiet.

Another beautiful stay in our Home away from Home. Kinfauns is just beautiful we love the vast Deck where we sat each evening enjoy bubbles and the birdlife. Yallingup retreat

This was our second stay at this delightful property, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. The property is well maintained and offers every facility that you could reasonably desire. The kitchen, complete with high-quality plates, appliances, and an oven, was in perfect working order, making cooking a joy. The furniture and beds were comfortable, allowing us to relax after a day of exploring. The well-designed layout and sizable rooms provided ample space for everyone. We also found the host to be accommodating and easy to communicate with, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Kin faun's is heaven

Kin fauns is in such a beautiful location and its surroundings are picture perfect. We love the house setup and amazing relaxing timber deck, with green lawn in front, looking across into the relaxing bush land.It will make you want to move into the bush.We love staying there and highly recommend this property and Sue the homeowner is great.
