Yakala Point Lonsdale - Tranquil getaway for you and your dog


Yakala at Pt Lonsdale is a modern beach house with accommodation for up to 9 people. It is a five minute walk to the Golf Course or a 10 minute walk to either Back Beach or Front Beach. Small pets are very welcome.

A beautiful peaceful garden which is fully fenced and very safe for young children and small dogs. It includes areas to read and relax, as well as a rumpus room for the kids with a TV and Pool Table so everyone has an area to enjoy. The rumpus room has folding glass doors which open up onto the front garden.

Upstairs offers a lovely master bedroom with light filled ensuite and separate air-conditioning. A bunk room is also situated upstairs with reverse cycle air-conditioning and another double bedroom and a bunk room is provided downstairs with a separate bathroom and toilet. In total 4 bedrooms.

The modern kitchen is well fitted out with all the appliances and kitchenware you will need. This area is open plan with a separate dining area and lounge room.

There is also a Weber BBQ connected to mains gas so you will never run out of gas and outdoor table and chairs for 10 people.

Laundry facilities include a washing machine and dryer as well as an external clothes line.

There is a large TV, 2 air-conditioning units upstairs, an electric heater downstairs, and an open fire place.

All Linen can be provided at an additional cost of $150. Otherwise you are welcome to bring your own linen and towels.
WiFi is connected.

Small pets are welcome.

A wonderful Christmas

My family (6 adults, 3 children under 9) all had a most wonderful Christmas here! The sheltered front yard and wonderful outdoor table was our favourite place to hang out after a day at the beach, or riding to Queenscliff or simply lifting our heads up from our holiday reading. We will be sure to return to this great house!

It was a great experience accept for Our QLD relatives could not come due to lockdown Our son partner and granddaughter were sick and also could not come Just my self and husband stayed at house we enjoyed catching up with the Victorian family that we hadn’t seen for some time and family from Canberra also We enjoyed going to the beach and watching the children have lots of fun and doing daily coffee in town we all shared our meals

Awesome holiday house in a great location.

We (8 adults) had an amazing time in this holiday house recently. The house was clean and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. It's only a short walk to the local shopping strip and to both beaches at Point Lonsdale. We enjoyed playing some of the board games (lots of options), watching some DVD's (lots to choose from) and the table tennis table was great fun. Sally was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with, she responded to any questions we had prior to our arrival very promptly. We will hopefully be back to Point Lonsdale soon and would definitely stay here again.

The property is amazing - has every single thing you could ever need in a holiday rental. Location is great, kids loved the games room - table tennis, Wii, surfboards and boogie boards, DVDs, board games... the house is excellent, great layout, and the backyard and outdoor table, bbq and eating area is so relaxing and family oriented. Can’t faukt a thing!

We enjoyed our recent stay very much. Good for kids with the garage converted in to a playroom and an open front yard to play or entertain. Can accommodate two families if necessary with up and down stairs accommodation. Would recommend internet connection and airconditioning (although bedrooms upstairs do have wall units). Overall enjoyed our stay and would rent property again.

Great place for a family holiday

We stayed for a week over Christmas to be near family. The house accommodated three generations very well with a good combination of bedroom arrangements. The table tennis table proved a real bonus. All in all an easy house to be in and very relaxing and a great location.

"A Secret Gem"

I really had no idea what to expect, it was the perfect home for my husband and I and our two little fluff balls for the weekend. Safe & private garden for the grandchildren when they came to visit. Everything was spotless & the kitchen a dream with all the mods and cons. Sally & David thank you so much, would love to return next time for a longer stay. The perfect way to celebrate my birthday. Ideal Holiday Stay

This property which is located close to public transport and a short walk from the shops was ideal for our weekend stay. It was most comfortable for seven adults allowed interaction even if one is in the kitchen with people in the lounge or sitting outdoors. We would be return stayers.
