The “English Writer’s Cottage,” earned its name for its English Cotswolds meets Santa Barbara bungalow aesthetic, & sits perfectly situated in the historical and picturesque Austin Ave/ Castle Heights neighborhood, just 3-5 min from Baylor & Downtown Waco. When you walk in, you are greeted with 12 foot coffered ceilings and cozy rooms for all your guests. Wonderful touches abound where modern meets old world. Jill Mashburn Barrett, creator of the world famous Common Grounds coffee shop by Baylor University, and The Falcon +Owl vintage home goods & interior design studio, has added her special touch of keeping true to the homes vintage, bungalow roots, while weaving in modern design features to make your stay truly enjoyable.
