Enjoy breathtaking sunsets and a view of the spectacular Confederation Bridge from the large well appointed deck.

This beautiful cottage has been given a four star rating from Canada Select and is fully furnished with all the creature comforts of home.
Our cottage is situated on 2 acres of land,but centrally located to Charlottetown,and Cavendish beach area,home of Anne of Green Gables.
The private beach is perfect for young and old alike, with calm waters(the warmest north of Virginia) that are excellent for swimming, kayaking and water-sports and low tides which are perfect for long walks and sandcastle building on the expanse of sandbars.

The bright open-concept interior is perfect for entertaining or relaxing; complete with sun-room dining area.

Enjoyable stay

Clean, bright and well equipped cottage. We especially appreciated the private and quiet location. The sunsets were beautiful, and we enjoyed walking the beach, which we had mostly to ourselves.

The cottage was more than we expected. We all loved it's real cottage feel. The kitchen was really well equipped! The view out the sliding front doors was picture perfect. The host was great, checked to see if everything was going well and if we needed anything. The cottage is less than a hour from Charlottetown, 20 min from Summerside and other tourist destinations are a short drive away. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this cottage!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Merrill’s cottage. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The sunset views were incredible as was the Long Beach at low tide. Centrally located it gave us lots of easy options to explore the island! Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

Perfect Ocean Getaway

Loved the location of this cottage. Enjoyed watching the tides come in, playing on the quiet beach, and even saw a cruise ship go by under the Confederation Bridge. It was stocked with everything you need to cook meals and have a great week as a family by the ocean. Thank you!

Incredible getaway!

Thank you to Merrill and Marilyn for lending us this piece of paradise to allow us to escape the daily hustle. We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful little spot! Merrill was so friendly and helpful and was very easy to communicate with. He even left us a tasty bag of PEI potatoes and fresh green beans. The cottage was perfect and well stocked with everything we needed (including beach toys and games for the kids) The beach was amazing! Soft sand, warm water and basically no one else for miles. Great location! We hope to be back again soon.

PERFECT

The most perfect setting and the most accomodating host who provided everything you could ever need! From the moment we pulled up to the cottage we were in awe. The view is breathtaking! Upon entering the cottage you could feel the warmth and enthusiasm poured into creating an environment to totally relax and capture the beauty and serenity of this beautiful Island. Extremely clean, high quality accomodations and several personal, welcoming touches. Very hard to leave and would hope to return.

The cottage was perfect, it was so clean and nicely decorated and had all the comforts of home.

This was our fourth time to the island and this trip was by far the best. The location of the beach house was great - close to Summerside but still very private. The house was very clean, nicely decorated, had all the amenities one would need (and more) which made for a very comfortable stay. The view was outstanding, the sunsets were gorgeous and we had many long walks on the beach when the tide was out. Lots of good memories and laughs were had. Merrill was a great host, always in contact and there if you needed anything or had questions. I would recommend this beach house to anyone, and I hope to return in the future. Thank you so much for contributing to what was such an amazing trip to the island. Hope to see you soon! K:)

It's perfect!

We have stayed at this cottage many times with our two kids and it's absolutely perfect. The location and views are stunning, there's plenty of space to play, easy access to the beach and all the comforts of home. It truly feels like a home away from home.

Our Stay at Pei at this cottage was one we will always remember just a gorgeous place

Our family vacation was the most wonderful experience here, The cottage was lovely everything was so clean and neat lots of room, had everything in it that you would need for your stay. the property was just beautiful and spacious and very neatly kept. it was situated close to all the surrounding places that we wanted to go . we had so much fun with the family exploring for shells and the sunsets were lovely to see. we would certainly recommend this as a place to go if heading to PEI and we will defiantly hope to return. we met the owner Merrill and he was such a pleasure to talk to and was more than willing to help with whatever we needed. we thank you again Merrill for such a lovely place for us to stay. we didn't want to leave Kevin and Marlene Beaupre Jennifer and Michael Heaslip and our grandson Oakley who had a blast

Beautiful waterfront cottage

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, picturesque, part of PEI. The cottage was lovely with a stunning view of the water and the Confederation Bridge, and access to the private beach. Really enjoyed the walks on the red sandy beach. The cottage had all the amenities we needed and easy access to Charlottetown. Private and serene; we would love to come back again!

Absolutely perfect cottage!

While we have been to PEI every year for the past twelve years, Marilyn and Merrill's cottage was by far the best equipped ever. clean, cozy and secluded. The views of the bridge and the sunsets were spectacular and low tide walks by the beach were so peaceful and refreshing. Looking to book again for next year.

The best place you have ever stayed

This is the most beautiful property inside and out. Pictures can't do it justice. The house is the cleanest, most equipped home we have ever rented in all our years of renting. The hosts, Marilyn and Merrill, bend over backwards to ensure that you have a great stay and respect your privacy. There is nobody nearby - total privacy. We will be back again and again.

Beautiful property, perfect cottage

The setting is absolutely beautiful, acres of green grass on a wonderful beach at low tide. The cottage is perfectly maintained and has everything: gas grill, beautiful deck with views, nice sun-room with table and couches. We could not have been more pleased with our choice -- we will be back. The owners take extra care to make sure your trip is exactly as you envisioned. An ocean front oasis of tranquility and beauty!

My husband and I just spent a week at this beautiful cottage and loved it! The cottage was perfectly clean and lovely inside and out! Marilyn and Merrill have thought of every detail to ensure their guests have a stress free vacation! We walked on the beach, lounged on the deck, had a couple barbeques, watched the birds and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets! It is a very private location and we came away completely relaxed and wishing we had another week to spend there! The pictures you see on their website are what you see when you get there! A beautiful piece of Canada!

A little piece of heaven !!!!

This cottage is even better than the pictures show if that is possible. It is evident that the cottage was built with love, piece by piece and decoration by decoration. It is a great place to come back to after touring the island all day. Our only regret is that we only booked for one week and should have booked for 2 !!!!

We loved our week at the cottage.

Our stay at the cottage was fantastic. Anyone looking for privacy and an awesome place to stay while visiting PEI should consider this well appointed courage. Not one thing was over looked with this place. We brought our own corn on the cob holders, but the cottage already had them. We would rent here again anytime.
