Fantastic friendly hosts

We had a wonderful stay with our whole family for two weeks at the property. It was a perfect set up for both adults & teenagers, a great base to visit the abundance of things to do in the area. The hosts were so welcoming & friendly, going out of their way to help with anything we needed, including booking an appointment at the local vet to check our dog passport before the return journey. The pool was very clean and we spent many hours reading a book in the sunshine under the shade. I would highly recommend the property for families and as a perfect location for visiting the many beautiful chateaux in the area. There’s plenty to do - we could have easily stayed for longer. Thank you Diane we will miss you!

Lovely family, beautiful home. There was a big lake so there were many musquitos and other stinging animals. We could not lay by the pool or really hang out outside because there were so many of them. Also there’s wild swines which are dangerous, and rats coming from the lake… I loved the home but these things we would loved to know before booking this house.

Hi Joy, our nice region of Sologne is a famous one because thé « châteaux de la Loire » are beautiful, the region is protected because there are many animals (deers, roe deer, boars, beavers , cockerel, docks, swans,…)lakes and rivers, so much humidity. It’s why there are mosquitos and this year it’s rain a lot until your arrivai and these animalsbappreciated more than us humidité. I will keep a nice souvenir of our «family pétanque apéritif « !

Relaxing Stay

Our first trip to the area, we, a group of 5 grown ups. 3 young adults and 2 children stayed a week in this lovely villa. Mme D'Halloy, Diane, and her family were most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Even before we arrived we kept in contact so that I was aware of the set up and what we needed to bring with us. Check in was easy, we did a walk around with Diane and she was happy for me to contact her at any point during our stay if we needed anything. It did rain on and off during our stay but we made as much use of the pool as we could. The swimming pool is a few minutes walk from the villa, but we had a beach/pool bag with us to carry a drink, change of clothes, towels etc...There is a place to change next to the pool and we left our inflatables in there rather than carry them each time. The villa itself was spacious and enough seating for meals at the dinning table, for congregating at rainy times and snuggling up on the sofas of an evening. There is a TV, however we did not make use of it, the majority of us were either playing board games or reading. The rooms are well laid out and the bathrooms provide good showers/bath with hot water available throughout the day. Plenty of outdoor games available- table tennis, petanque, badminton equipment, trampoline and sand box. Ample parking on site. Lovely walks that lead either around the lake, to the river or through the woods. Loads of outdoor seating provided. We all had a fantastic time.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille. Diane ( propriétaire ) est accueillante et à l’écoute. Le gîte est situé au cœur d’un site très nature et à proximité ( en voiture ) de plusieurs endroits à visiter.

Nous avions une cousinade à la Ferté Imbaut à côté de chez Diane. Nous avons passé un excellent weekend. le beau temps était au rdv. l'endroit était propre. la piscine magique. Le domaine est vraiment dépaysant. Nous recommandons à 100%.

Een heerlijke week vakantie gehad op het landgoed van Diane. We werden uiterst vriendelijk ontvangen, rondleiding gehad door het huis en buiten, visplekjes bekeken. In het huis is alles te vinden wat je nodig hebt. In de omgeving is genoeg moois te zien (kastelen, stadjes), maar om tot rust te komen heb je niet meer nodig dan de prachtige natuur en het heerlijke zwembad. Absoluut een aanrader!

Séjour en famille pour des fêtes inoubliables

Très beau gîte, dans une très belle propriété .Au calme, au milieu de la nature , la maison est très bien équipée. La cheminée, l espace chambre a l étage parfait pour les enfants qui ont créé leur espace. Chambord, Beauval, Cheverny, la gastronomie avec Selles sur Cher et les vins de Touraine. Bref, de belles vacances en famille! Merci à Madame D’Halloy pour sa gentillesse et ses attentions.

Nous avons séjourné presque une semaine dans ce gîte et nous avons été enchanté par ce lieu, tant par son charme que par ses atouts (piscine, activités à disposition, etc). La communication avec notre hôte a été simple et efficace et l’accueil chaleureux.
