This property has been lovingly appointed with open concept consisting of a huge kitchen, dining, and living areas; all filled with tons of light. It's the perfect vacation location. Walk to the private Gowdy association beach as well as Union Pier's quaint shops, bakeries, and restaurants.

Everything recently updated and a fresh design with a total of five bedrooms and two full bathrooms all on one floor. One bedroom has king bed, three bedrooms with a queen bed in each; the fifth bedroom has two twin beds (you walk through the bedrooms with the twin beds to access one of the larger bedrooms.)

Some of the homes great features include the new kitchen with black granite countertops, breakfast bar, coffee station, large dining area, and fully appointed with all kitchen accessories. Two living areas perfect for families and entertaining; including flat screen TV, wifi, and Sonos.

Enjoy all the wonderful amenities including relaxing chairs on the sun-filled front porch, rear screened-in porch, gas grill, fire pit, beach chairs, and all-season hot tub on the back deck (professionally cleaned/services every week.). As a bonus in the summer season, there is a basement with two showers, toilet, vanity and another full-sized washer and dryer (basement accessed from the exterior of the home.) Now with a Generac home generator in case of a summer storm!

** Hot Tub open all year round!

**Basement area extra showers/extra laundry open June-August.

**All Guests required to sign and return our Guest Occupancy Agreement.

Wonderful stay at the beach

The pictures don’t do this place justice. The house had a great location just up street from the private beach. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The enclosed patio was nice and so was the BBQ and spa. Everything was super clean. We had a great stay. Thank you!

Fall getaway

The house was very cute - the pictures didn't do it justice! Great location, amazing hot tub - perfect for our fall getaway. We all had our own rooms, which were small but well-kept and cozy. Jason answered questions quickly. We recommend!

It was beautiful!

We had a group of 10 friends staying together and this house could not have been more perfect! There is so much open living space for hanging out, and so many outdoor areas too! We really loved the screened porch with tons of seating, and the hot tub was a great bonus! It was very easy and comfortable for our whole group to spend time together, and it was such a quick walk to the beach, which was beautiful! Everything in the house felt clean and up to date. It was also a very short drive to restaurants and bars downtown. We already talked about how we want to come back. I highly recommend this place!

Girl's Trip

We loved the house and how open it was. The outdoor space was great and we enjoyed how close we were to the beach and will defiantly come back to enjoy the beach more in warmer months. The only issue we had was not being able to stream our own music through the Sonos speaker. We were able to stream our music through the app on the tv though.

Great floor plan and really nice outdoor amenities

We loved this house for our annual girl’s trip. 9 adult women fit comfortably. We used the screened in porch mostly and the kitchen was great for all of us to be in there cooking and chatting. Plenty of open space to move around. The water drained slow in one of the showers, but other than that. The house was great! One of our favorite rentals so far. This was our 8th year. Rental company was great to work with. Would recommend this house for sure!

Great Stay

Overall clean except for one bathroom that had mold. The stackable washer was not working properly but there is another unit in the basement that worked great. Be aware that 2 bedrooms are connected - As in, you need to walk through one to get through another. It was fine for us. Be aware that there is limited outdoor space if you have little kids. Overall great experience.

Great week in Union Pier

We have been renting houses for years in this area and I have worked with Jason and Bluefish before. They are very good property managers - they respond quickly to any issue. We had a shower issue and it was fixed same day. The house is small but nice, one floor. Beautiful screened in porch, fire pit in the backyard. Air conditioning worked well, wifi was solid, appliances worked. Well stocked kitchen and large kitchen table. Plenty of beach towels. Walk to beach is close to ten minutes - we had bikes which worked really well. And some days my husband would drop off the bigger stuff and bike back. Beach was spacious and people were nice and friendly.There is a bit of a musty smell in the house - many of our rental houses in Michigan have had that. I took extra Zyrtec and was fine. Master bedroom has a king which I loved and was comfortable but makes the room pretty tight - no place for suitcases. Overall I would definitely rent this house again.

Super great house

We had a group of 8 people. There was plenty of room for our group. Kitchen is set up for preparing meals. Bedrooms provided for privacy for all and bathrooms provided water for all our showers. Great indoor and outdoor seating for all. Location is perfect for beach, or going to breweries/wineries. We sure hope to be able to book again.

Great place to vacation!

We had two families with small kids and this was a perfect house. It.’s well laid out with bedrooms separated on both sides of the family room. The kitchen was terrific. We loved having a screened in porch & a hot tub in the evening. The beach is great and only a short walk away. I would highly recommend this cute house for a lake vacation.

Annual Family Vacation

Pictures are accurate. House was COVID safety clean. House supplied with anything you would need to cook. We were told that a wagon and beach chairs would not be available due to COVID so we brought our own. They were available at the house and were in excellent shape. Great internet - which in the world today is needed for all age groups. We enjoyed the yard, fire pit, and hot tub. The split bedroom plan worked well for our group of 5 adults, 1 child and 2 toddlers. There was a moderate length walk (level) to the beach and about 60 steps (concrete) down to the great beach. The beach was wide and very sandy.

Wonderful vacation!

Main room and kitchen nice. Bathrooms beat up, broken tile and smelled.

Beds were very comfortable. There was new carpet down. However water damage on ceilings and bathrooms was not nice. Tile floor was broken. We were stepping on broken grout when we got out of the shower. Other bathroom was unventilated and smelled of urine, especially when you started a hot shower. I sprayed cleaning products all over before I showered because of the smell. Deck in front and back was mildewed. Small older picnic table for outdoor eating. Not a place to entertain outside. Extra bathrooms and laundry is down an outside creepy staircase. We were not comfortable going down there.

Great location, decent property

The house has *parts* that have been newly renovated. The main living- kitchen and living room have been updated and are quite nice. The bedrooms and bathroom agave not been updated but are livable. The house is quite clean and pretty well stocked. The location is great! About a 2 block walk to a beautiful, uncrowded beach. You can’t ask for more than that! About 10 minute drive to Barney’s, the larger grocery store or a 2 minute drive to the small convenience/liquor store. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, too. Union Pier and New Buffalo are great little towns both in the summer and the winter. I highly recommend a visit.

Big-house feel!

This is a compact house that feels like a big one, thanks to the open-concept living, dining and kitchen area. Fabulous kitchen, well-stocked with every dish, glass, appliance cooking or baking item you would ever need. Beautifully decorated and spotless. Kudos to the owners and management! Great private association beach the equivalent of 2 blocks away.
