Gatekeepers' cabin

The Cottage is a beautifully appointed facility with fire place, foxtel, CD player with large collection of CD's. Perfect for a couple wishing to spend a weekend or longer just enjoying the country landscape within the Scenic Rim or more actively engaging in watersports, horseriding, bush walking, mountain climbing, golf and so much more.
Located within a working beef cattle business of Dugandan Droughtmasters. There are horses and cattle grazing at all times in adjoining paddocks.
The Dugandan Pub is just 3 klms away for casual meals and a courtesy bus which for no charge will pick you up and drop you back should you decide to have a few drinks. Quality dining is available in town and at Austin House and at the nearby Karoomba Winery
A horse arena, round yard and horse paddocks are available for use by guests wishing to bring horses to the country for a change of scenery
Also available is sofa bed and stretchers or swag for an extra charge of $50 per couple which covers the laundering of extra linen & towels.

Super cute cabin, we enjoyed our farm stay at the gatekeeper’s cabin. Such a pretty setting, we loved watching the cows, feeding the horses and birds, and having a fire on chilly winter nights.

Amazing location

The property was roomy and very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio and looking at the beautiful scenery all around, the castle, horses a lots of birds. We would recommend this property for a couple who are looking for a peaceful stay.

Quiet country stay with lovely views.

This is a great place for a country stay with plenty of room, a lovely view and a comfy bed. If you enjoy a bit of animal/birdlife then you'll love this place. Cows and horses grazing in paddocks nearby, with bird feeders attracting a variety of local wildlife.

Great spot

Relaxed country environment, great location in the area, suit city or country folk. Comfy & homely cottage with everything you need for whatever length of stay to unwind. Bed was tops. Wide open views, no noise, just the birds popping in for a feed, cattle & horses close by - good for the soul.

Beautiful location, amazing view out and very peaceful. Not far to Boonah to get your supplies. The cottage has all the appliances and comforts for a relaxing time. Great value for the dollars. Loved it.

Relaxing country getaway

Lovely scenic views. The fireplace kept the cottage toasty at night. Google maps took us down the driveway of number 72 which was jncorrect. It was the road adjacent to that driveway.

Lovely little cottage

The Gatekeepers cottage was a lovely little house that is a good size for 2 people. We needed a place to stay for a wedding at Kooromba Winery near by, it was so convenient just down the road from the winery and close enough to town to be able to duck in for brekky in the morning. I especially enjoyed our neighbours a couple of gorgeous horses and half a dozen cows.
