Welcome to our Clayton Bay Cottage, with its stunning views of the river all the way to Goolwa, located on the Fleurieu Peninsula approximately 87 kilometers by road from the city of Adelaide and 12 kilometers upriver from the municipal town of Goolwa. This delightful cottage overlooks the Murray River and is located within walking distance of wetlands and a boardwalk surrounded by Murray River water reeds. The perfect spot for freshwater fishing on the water’s edge and amazing lake views from its sandstone cliffs. The Cottage is Pet friendly and consists of 3 Bedrooms, 2 modern Bathrooms and can accommodate 8 people.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 are fitted with queen-size beds and Bedroom 3 with bunk beds, single at the top double in the center, and trundle at the base. Pillows, quilts, and blankets all provided. We ask that you supply your personal sheets, pillowcases, and towels.

This family-friendly accommodation has a comfy lounge area with a smart TV, and DVD player, including free Wi-fi and 3 piece sofa with reclining chairs, as well as dining facilities to seat 8.

Some games, cards, and DVDs are available so you can have a little R&R when needed. Clayton Bay Cottage is perfect all year round with 3 air conditioners and ceiling fans for summer and a combustion heater for the wintery days.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, crockery and cutlery, dishwasher, microwave, full stove, oven, and 2 fridges.

This is your perfect home away from home with 2 Ultra-Modern Bathrooms, two toilets, and a fully equipped laundry with a new front-loading washer and dryer.

The undercover front and back decks provide a tranquil setting so you can relax in the outdoor settings and enjoy the views all the way up to Goolwa. A large lawn area at the rear for children and pets to stretch out and a:

• Gas BBQ
• Weber (coals not provided)

Both provided for outdoor entertaining and dining.

Off-street parking is available and the yard is fully fenced for children and pets.

The perfect place to relax with the family

Clayton Bay Cottage is perfect for a relaxing stay. The house is lovely, so clean and everything has been thought of, kitchen has everything you need.The kids loved the back deck and having breakfast over looking the lake (we even got to watch the paddle steamer) and doing soem puzzles. Great place to stay and relax before going back to school. We will visit again.

Immaculate presentation

This cottage is absolutely gorgeous! Stocked with everything you can think of and then so many things you wouldn't have dreamt of too. The beds are so comfortable, bathrooms spotless and the front and rear decks are furnished luxuriously. The back deck with gorgeous views of the sunset over the river, then add in the huge fire pit in the rear yard and you won't want to leave. I know I didn't want to leave

The cottage was amazing...neat and tidy and decor tastefully done . Robyn And Terry were verry accommodating hosts and made checking in and out easy and simple. everything needed for a holiday was there but a bit disappointing to find no cupboard space for food supplies. back lawn in places was in need of cut. but overall a great place to rent for a holiday. wd come again. was expecting a deli to be operating in the town but there is nothing there now. our last stay here there was a small Cafe/takeaway.

Fantastic place to place stay

My partner, children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was nice to walk out to the back doors and be welcomed to the fantastic view of the lake every morning. It has a great layout and plenty of space for a family of 5 to relax too. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you for having us.

An amazing real home away from home in a beautifully loved property

A beautifully real property with amazing wooden furniture, fire place and gardens. The view from the deck is spectacular. I spent hours pouring over the maps in the study. It’s like staying at a good friend’s house who makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend the cafe for both the food and the people. Top little community spot.
