The house was beautiful and the views spectacular! A great house for the whole family..Beds were comfortable. It was really clean and plenty of crockery and utensils. We had a great stay over Christmas.
Great view and everything we needed for a weekend away with family. The dining/living area is on the smaller side but space on the deck helped ease that problem. Rooms were neat and tidy. It's a steep hill to walk up from town but a very easy stroll down to the beach!

perfectly appointed property
love the balcony with ocean views, dinning table was a great size for the number of guests the property could accommodate. You could do with a few extra blankets for those occasional cold nights you still have in September.

Thank you Dorianne, It was lovely having you stay with us again this year! We will pass onto the owner the suggestion regrading blankets. You just never know the weather in Victoria!
Very good location. Good water views. Complete fit out in kitchen. VG heating, BBQ, decking and amenities. Large backyard secured for dogs. Three toilets, two bathrooms plus outside hot shower. Older property but very comfortable and well maintained.
The property is excellent and is beautiful home. We’ve stayed before. But about an hour into our arrival we noticed a very strong draft from the lounge area and as it was a chilly night the heater wasn’t making it better. We opened the blind to discover the entire glass panel missing from the window. It had clearly been smashed and no one had reported or seen it. I then spent the next hour trekking off to the supermarket to get thick cardboard and tape to patch the window. The real estate were very helpful and apologetic and offered to relocate but 5 people had already unpacked food and clothes etc for the weekend so we decide to spend some time repairing. Overall a great stay but not the ideal relaxing start
Overall this property was great for our group and we enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed for our family, ranging from a grandparent to a 12 year old. Even though the kitchen and main bathroom are looking a bit tired everything worked well. I only marked the cleanliness rating lower as there was a dirty towel left hanging in a bedroom and there were a LOT of ants in one of the kitchen cupboards on arrival which we had to remove ourselves. Everywhere else was very clean. The house is situated just a few hundred metres from the Main Street BUT there is a very steep slope to contend with. The contact with the agent was excellent throughout and the owner was very kind in extending our stay as we started late due to a bereavement in the family. All in all a great option for a relaxed stay in Lorne. And the view really is Grand, too.
We enjoyed our stay, the view was amazing, the location excellent, great stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and the kids rooms were great. There was a shortage of toilet paper which required us to purchase it. Excellent heating for the middle of winter. We were disappointed we had to pay a cleaning fee and then be asked to clean. When we arrived the carpets weren't clean, this could be because the vacuum cleaner didn't work properly. We were also disappointed we had to contact the agent for details about collecting the key and then be asked to collect them from a restaurant in business hours. These were minor annoyances and it didn't detract from us enjoying our weekend. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to our friends.
Perfect for young family, close to main thoroughfare and beach. Great views of ocean. Birdlife

This house has an amazing view on the front deck. We stayed with another family and loved it.
We were very happy with house and couldn't have asked for anything more. Wasn't 5 stars, but perfect for a family getaway. Livewire adventure park 2 mins away and the shops down the hill. Fantastic workout climbing the hill to get home, which meant feeling less guilty having a few drinks out on the deck. Birdlife brilliant, nice gardens, etc. etc..
