Even though it rained, we went fishing several days. Enjoyed being out in the canoe. Caught a lot of big fish. We went to a big flea market in hillsville, visited mayberry nc, went to several nurseries and bought plants. The house was great for the two of us. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. I would recommend this to people who want comfort, enjoy nature, love fishing, and want limited communication with the outside world.

Fun stay at the Kayla cottage

We had a great stay at the Kayla cottage! My kids had a wonderful time using the paddle boards in the pond and they loved the balcony from the second floor. The cottage was very clean and the outdoor area was beautiful!

Relaxing stay

We had a pleasant stay at the the little house on the lake. The surroundings are lovely and quiet. A bit of a trip to get to near by towns and hiking. We were happy watching the hummingbirds and listing to the birds!
