Our house is a spacious, with high ornamental ceilings, front and rear verandahs and expansive leafy private garden, all set in a quiet coastal surroundings.

The house is located at water's edge between stunning Coogee Beach and an idyllic Gordons Bay. We are on the high side of a one-way street adjoining ocean park leading down to the beach.

The house is very comfortable, all at one level. It features three double bedrooms, a living / dining room and a new, modern, well equipped kitchen looking out onto a sunny courtyard with a meals table.

We have a carport and parking for 2 cars is available.

We are footsteps to the surf and sand, and an array of Coogee resort restaurants, beachfront cafes & bars, cosmopolitan attractions, gourmet food stores, entertainment, cinema, supermarkets and boutique shops. Among most famous are the iconic Coogee Pavilion and Rick Stein restaurant located in InterContinental hotel facing Coogee beach.

You will enjoy a dream walk-to-everywhere coastal lifestyle. The beach, with its 4 ocean rock pools is a 4 minutes walk away. It is ideal for swimmers, sunbathers, snorkelers, paddleboarders and sunbathers. It is also a perfect playground for children with a special children’s pool. It is surrounded by grassed picnic and barbeque areas.
You may be lucky to spot a pod of dolphins, gropers, turtles and a variety of fish when snorkelling, and in appropriate season you will see migrating whales.

We are on the coastal reserve and on the ocean scenic walk Coogee - Bondi Beach, and moments from snorkelling at Gordon's Bay and the cliffs of Clovelly.

Minutes away are the iconic Wylie's Baths, great for both lap swimming and water play. They have a café, hot showers and yoga, pilates & tai-chi classes on an outdoors deck with breathtaking ocean views and space for meals, meetings and computer work.
The nearby Ladies Baths have a cozy grassy area and facilities, including neighbourhood library, hot showers and changing rooms.
On northern side of Coogee beach you can enjoy Giles Baths rock pool, and on the southern side John Ross pool and children's rock pool.

You're perfectly situated to visit all of Sydney's iconic attractions:
- Downtown is 6.9km away and the rest of Sydney is within easy reach.
- From Coogee Beach direct buses will take you to the Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay, the Rocks & Downtown, the airport, the University of NSW, Prince of Wales Hospital, Newtown and beyond.
- The famous Bondi Beach is nearby.
- The airport is a 15-20 min drive.

Wonderful house in quiet beachside location.

Showing up to the Sydney area for the first time, we were not sure what to expect. Sophie’s house in Coogee was the perfect home-base for our Australian adventure. A close walk to the beach and nearby restaurants was very manageable, even for small children. Coogee also provided easy access to the greater Sydney area. The house was clean and very well appointed with plenty of amenities that made preparing family meals a simple affair. It also was more than adequate space for two adults and four children. We highly recommend!

Homely cottage in great location

A few hundred metres from Coogee Beach, this comfortable cottage with a great outdoor eating area and back garden are a perfect base for visiting the picturesque eastern suburbs of Sydney. Sophie, the owner, was particularly hospitable and helpful. Highly recommended.

Accomodation has everything you need for a short or long stay, very light airy and nicely decorated. The house was extremely clean and tidy and is positioned in such a convenient location. Amazing beach holiday

Our family enjoyed a wonderful Coogee short stay - during our 4 days we loved how close we were to Coogee and Bronte beaches. The Beach House is comfortable and relaxed - with a pretty back yard and only metres to the reserve between Coogee and Gordons Bay. Our hosts were very responsive, and on request were even kind enough to stock up on beach towels, which is perfect for interstate visitors. The house is a great size, and immaculate. Thankyou for a wonderful holiday !

Simply the best!

I am writing this while laying in the most lluxurious and comfortable bed I have ever discovered in a rental property. It is nothing short of indulgent and I simply don't want to get out! We arrived late yesterday, dropped our bags in the house, put our swimmers on and headed for the beach. I couldn't believe how close it was and all the beautiful walks right on our doorstep! We came back after our swim and walk, showered and again in 5 minutes you were among restaurants with whatever cuisine you would like! So central and perfectly located. We came home and flopped in the lounge. Dad spotted the Battleships game on the table so we just had to play it. Neither of us had played before, but enjoyed quality time together over this relaxing game. The house is very comfy and has everything you could ever need. It was very quiet after 9:45pm when the neighbors went to bed. The floor boards do creep if someone gets up in the night, but we were so privileged to be able to stay here. Thank you for spoiling us rotten Sophie. ;)

Wonderful seaside escape in the heart of Coogee

Our family stayed here for a few weeks while we were house hunting. We loved that we could just mosy on down to the beach of an afternoon and let the kids play in the afternoon sun. Short stroll to the hive of Coogee and an added bonus of car parking!! Our host Sophie was very accommodating with any requests we had which included letting our little dog stay with us. Great backyard for the kids to play and outdoor dining options to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. A comfortable home for a family getaway.
