Surrounded by historic 1850s terraces, the house is built over two levels and has good security. The bedrooms are located on the ground floor, with a light and airy open-plan living area on the first level flowing onto a large deck with a gas barbecue and outdoor furniture.

My husband and I currently own and manage two short-term rental properties – in Darlinghurst and Bondi Beach - and live halfway between them.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because we love living within walking distance of the CBD and all its attractions but in a village atmosphere, surrounded by great restaurants, bars and cafes. The house is in a low-rise, heritage zone, steeped in history and very charming. It's newly renovated with all mod cons.

What makes this property unique

The house has a lovely deck where you can sit back with a G&T at the end of the day and look back on the city skyline.
