Bundeena Base Art House, Sea View with Solar Heated Pool
Overlooking the sea, with fabulous views from the garden, pool and two of the three bedrooms, the property offers you a quiet haven within the sleepy village of Bundeena. Don't be fooled by the peace and quiet, there's plenty to do while you are here but it is perfect for time just to switch off and recharge from the stress of daily life.
The property we are letting is a fully self contained apartment in the lower half of a larger house. You will have your own access via the side gate and will have exclusive use of the garden and pool. There is no need for any interaction, but we are happy to help out with anything should you need to ask us anything. Whilst we live in the upper part of the property, we understand absolutely the importance of privacy and will respect that at all times.
Interaction with guests is entirely up to you. You may see us in passing briefly at the front of the property, on the driveway as we venture to the beach etc.
Smoking is not permitted at the property.
Parties are not allowed.
Quiet time after 10pm.
No glass around pool area.
This property would suit families and groups of friends just as much as a couple wanting a bit of luxury and privacy.
We are open to dogs staying at the property but no other pets like cats or reptiles etc. It is important that you contact me before booking because we do have some conditions that must be agreed to prior to arrival. There will be an additional fee of $30 towards extra cleaning.
The accommodation comprises three bedrooms:
•2 queen size beds
•1 double bed
•1 single bunk above the double bed
•1 single trundle bed with full sized mattress (very comfortable)
•There are three portacots suitable for toddlers and 2 bassinets for babies
•We can provide 2 highchairs, 1 change table, 1 baby bath
•The two queen rooms have generous water views
•All bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space and hangers
•Two bedrooms also have desk facilities.
•Top quality mattresses and pillow options are provided to ensure a good night’s sleep
•Electric blankets in queen rooms (winter period)
•All bedding is provided
Lounge dining area. Lounge has two three seater sofas, perfect for enjoying the entertainment facilities which include:
•HDTV with Netflix
•Blueray (with movie library available)
•Free WiFi
Inside dining area has an extendable dining table which can seat up to 10 people. Two high chairs are available.
Kitchen is well equipped and includes:
•Electric hob
•Full sized oven and grill
•Fridge freezer
•Dishwasher
•Washer / dryer combo
•Coffee filter machine
•Nespresso machine (starter pack of pods provided)
•Rice cooker
•Toaster & kettle
Water supply is filtered using hospital grade filtration to remove chlorine and other mains water impurities.
The generous three-way bathroom suite has a double washbasin area, separate bath and shower room and separate toilet. Super soft, 100% Egyptian cotton towels provided in-home use and other towels provided for beach use.
Outdoor covered dining area features:
•Weber BBQ
•Seating for up to 8
•Large round table with lazy Susan
The 8 metre solar heated pool has sunshades and dining area for up to 8 people.
Water is ionized to minimise the need for chlorine and the pool can be lit for a night time dip
The garden is fully enclosed and you can lock the gates if you wish.

Having travelled extensively both for work and leisure, I have stayed in some of the world's worst (always make good stories) and best hotels. My first experience in providing accommodation was a few years back, in the UK. I bought a hotel and turned it into a successful boutique business, with each room decorated as if from a different country. You could travel to Morocco, Italy, Norway and even stay in a spooky Gothic room, all within one building. I sold that business in order to move to Australia and now let my property in Bundeena.
I don't mind admitting that I get a real thrill when I hear my guests have had a good time, enjoyed what the property and Bundeena have to offer but also that they've had a good nights sleep. My mantra is to offer a quality experience at an affordable price.

Why they chose this property
You know that feeling when you first step into a house, you just feel like you've come home. The view from the property was enough to convince us to purchase, all within 30 seconds. The house is modern, well built and certainly well looked after. I aim to provide a home away from home, and try to anticipate the needs of guests by providing so much more than most holiday lets.

What makes this property unique
Bundeena Base is only property in Bundeena that has a heated pool. At 8 meters long, it is decent size, perfect for family and friends, with pool chairs & table for meals and sun lounges to lap up those rays. It's perfect if you just want to spend time away from the world, but also to have for when you come back from the beach or walks. The pool system is fully automated, and uses a bionizer cleaning system. That means there is absolutely no chlorine in the pool and it's not a saltwater either. You will notice the difference immediately.
We provide 100% cotton or bamboo bedding (it surprises me how many properties don't) and towels. Pool towels and beach towels too, so you don't have to pack those into your luggage.
The water system to the house is also chlorine free. It's been filtered out on delivery to the building. You'll notice the taste immediately and your hair and skin will feel so much better after showering.
The rear garden is fully fenced, and we also allow dogs to stay.
If you are bringing bikes or surf boards, our garden gates are lockable.
We provide 100% cotton or bamboo bedding (it surprises me how many properties don't) and towels. Pool towels and beach towels too, so you don't have to pack those into your luggage.
