We had a great time. We would go back. Well positioned to multiple bush walking tracks near Mt Buller, facilities on site (mini golf, pool, walk around lake, wild life) were varied and enjoyable. Host had stocked the pantry well and everything was there for an enjoyable stay.

The chalet was comfortable, in a great location, and had everything we needed to relax over a couple of nights. Also has the benefit of using the Sebel's facilities, namely the pool & tennis court!
Would love to stay there again.

Very comfortable accommodation. Great location and facilities. Everything as described. Gas fire in lounge room works a treat although a little chilly in the bedrooms. Host very responsive. Would recommend.
Great location to Mt Buller if not staying on top of the mountain, perfect for family of 3. Easy drive to from Melbourne. Lovely touch with bottle of wine 😃
Would stay again!
Lovely little property on resort with facilities. Needs of those coming off the mountain after a day skiing well accommodated. Beautiful spot. Really enjoyed our stay.

The location was great and bush outlook were really nice. Lovely pool area. The place needs better cleaning to meet standards to rent out, especially for the price we paid.

Hi Judy, I'm sorry my apartment wasn't cleaned to your liking. There had been a 2 month stint with no bookings, and i actually paid my cleaner to head back and ensure there wasn't any dust, dirt, dead insects etc in the meantime. I only wish you'd have alerted me during your stay, and i would have taken care of it. That cleaner is no longer going to work for me, so thank you for your honest feedback
Our stay at Sherpas rest was brilliant. Great accommodation and would recommend it to anyone as the only place you should book in the area.
The host was magnificent and everything they have setup is for maximum comfort.
We will be back!

The property was well situated and the directions given by our host were clear. The only thing is that the place as very cold (7 degrees) when we arrived and it took a while to warm up and be comfortable. Peaks restaurant was shut on our first night so we were glad to have brought some supplies.
Wonderful chalet accommodation over 2 levels. The property had great views with kangaroos and a variety of bird life hanging out just outside. The property was easy to find with ample parking nearby. We ate at the on-site restaurant which was lovely. The chalet exceeded our expectations and we were very comfortable.

The cabin itself looked tired. The mattress need changing and a paint job would be good.
It's a shame that the gas fireplace wasn't working. It was one of the reasons I booked it. The resort itself was amazing. Great facilities and beautiful scenery.

Always sad when a guest can only find fault with an apartment. No mention of the wine or hand made soaps etc. I guess if a highlight of their stay was to stare at fake logs in a gas fire instead of enjoying the central heating throughout, then what can you add.
We had a great time at this lovely property. The natural beauty and wildlife made it particularly special. Phil the host was excellent, even taking our call on Xmas day when we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the oven! 5/5 stars

We very much enjoyed staying at Sherpa's rest, Pinnacle Valley Resort. Had a very relaxing time, everything was well presented and the communication from the owner Phil was excellent. Enjoyed the bottle of red on arrival, and the fact that we had access to the main Pinnacle Valley resort facilities. The wildlife was amazing, lots of kangaroos around the place and a variety of birdlife landing on the balcony each day. The location is close to the Mt Buller main gate so we were able to drive up easily each day to the carpark and then catch the bus (5 min) to the Village. Tip: your Mt Bulller entry pass can be priinted at the Peaks restaurant reception, so that you don't have to pay the $6 each day to print it on arrival at the Mt Buller gate. We spent 5 days skiiing and had a fantastic time, despite the weather being quite foggy/rainy at times. Would definitely stay here again!

Disliked: Listing accuracy
Chalet was wonderful, great location. Stay was extremely tainted by the host Phil. I have spoken with customer service also. PLEASE BEWARE: Host has a camera pointing into the chalet, from the external roof outside the door. When door is open, he can see into the lounge and bedroom downstairs. He also monitors your movements during your stay. This made me extremely uncomfortable. Due to unforeseen circumstances we did have 1 additional adult and children. However Phil demanded an additional 300 for miss counting guests on his camera remotely. Have made reports to customer service re the camera.

In a week where Cold Play proved the benefit of cameras to prove people's deception, Lauren decides to attack my use of the camera that proved her deliberate deception in having 3 times the guests that she'd booked for. Her desperate attack and deliberate omission to tell me of her large group is proof enough for any future hosts to deny her bookings in the future. Thankfully guests like this are rare.
Great little property in a lovely quiet location.
Lovely and warm and lots of extras which was great.
The on site restaurant is a fantastic place to relax and eat as well.
