If you are looking for a quiet place with a short (5 minute) walk to a beautiful sand beach, this is it. The house was clean, simple, and had everything we needed to sit back and relax. Wish there would have been a little village nearby, but overall this rental provided great value for the money.
The house was situated in a quiet location, with plenty of space for us to spread out (2 kids: 8 & 12; 2 adults). The house was very clean. It was a quick walk to Thunder Cove beach, which we did at least once a day. The location in the island was perfect for planning easy day trips. Definitely would recommend staying here and our kids are dying to go back.
We loved the house, which had everything we needed. Well-stocked kitchen and laundry. Location was wonderful. 10 min stroll to beautiful beach. Thank you for letting us stay in your cottage! PEI’s beauty never disappoints.

Thank you so much for your review! We would love to host you again in the future.
Our group had the best time at this wonderful cottage! It has absolutely everything you would need for vacation and you cannot beat the location. The cottage was very modern and clean. The hosts had great communication throughout the entire process and even emailed during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a little slice of heaven here in PEI.
Wonderful spot by thunder cove Beach. Private lot, firepit, massive deck, 3 bedroom plus loft, 2 full bathrooms. 2 families stayed comfortably. Has a pack and play too for infants! Needs clothing iron but minor detail.

This was our second time staying here. This time for a couple weeks. A great spot for families. Close walk to the beach, private yard and well appointed kitchen. The place was clean and ready for our arrival.
An easy drive to Kensington to the cobblestone for lunches and not far from the aqua farm to pick up fresh mussels and oysters.
Looking forward to our next trip back.

We had a great week in Darnley! Great location, just a quick walk to the amazing thunder cover beach. Everything you need is provided, beach toys, kitchen essentials, comfy beds. The kids loved the fire pit and adults loved the large deck to lounge. Star gazing at night was a must! Close to many activities, really only 20min drive any direction to fishing, restaurants, shopping and exploring. Can’t wait to return soon!

Thank you so much for your review! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and would love to host you again in the future.
Wonderful cottage, it was very clean and exactly as pictured, would not hesitate to rent it again. Many thoughtful items in the cottage, well stocked kitchen, even a counter top ice maker! It was great space - we were 8 adults (family) and it worked well for us. It was an unusually very hot 2 weeks, we were grateful for fans in the property. Communication with the manager through VRBO was not reliable for us - though contact phone numbers were listed in the property. We would highly recommend, it is a fantastic spot, wooded area, close walk to beach.
The property was exactly as listed, extremely clean and neat, very well equipped with supplies. Host very quick to respond to inquiries and answer questions. Location great, short walk (7-10 min) to gorgeous Thunder beach. Short drive to Kensington and Summerside, approximately 45 + min to Charlottetown. Neighbours friendly. Would definitely rebook in the future without hesitation. 10/10.

Thank you so much for your review! We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and hope you rebook with us in the future!
This was our second summer staying here, and we absolutly love it! It is literally within walking distance to the most beautiful beach, not too long of a drive to many areas with fantastic restaurants, and overall, a fully equipped home for a week! There are a few thinga we noted from our last stay that haven't changed, and we think should. The sink upstairs is in a constant state of clogged. Even when you barely run any water, it fills up immediately. The screen door to enter the patio gets stuck and falls off the track, which gets annoying to fix.Without there being air conditioning, some blinds or window coverings would be nice to help reduce some heat. I'll note that we have already booked again for next summer, so none of these "issues" have deterred us!! We absolutely love it here and highly recommened to anyone! We were a family of 6 and there was enough space for all of us!!
This is such a great spot on a beautiful part of an amazing island. A quiet walk leads to a beautiful beach where we did lots of walking and even swimming, despite the cold waters. Straight out from the nearest path to the beach is a large sandbar. Brave the cold waters to get out to it (walkable for adults), and you have a whole area to play in shallower waters. The house is clean, as pictured, and is well stocked with the things you need, as well as many extras like multiple beach chairs, kitchen consumables, beach towels and toys, etc. We loved our morning beach walks, all the lupins in bloom, and sitting and eating on the deck. We're already missing the constant breeze.

Thank you so much for your review! We are so glad you had an enjoyable stay. We look forward to hopefully hosting you again in the future!
We arrived on a rainy day to a sparkling clean cottage and loved it instantly. The pictures don’t do it justice and it was much larger in person. Our boys loved the bunk bed room and we really enjoyed the spacious loft area.
The cottage was stocked with everyone you need for a comfortable stay and the outdoor shower was amazing on a return trip from the beach.
Thunder cove was a 5-10 min walk and easy for our young children. It’s an amazing beach and was never busy. The use of the beach chairs was a huge bonus. There is a large sandbar that runs almost the whole length of the beach and it was a lot of fun to play on. We collected lots of shells and blue mussels and explored the sandstone formations (safely).
The cottage was a short 20 minute drive to most amenities and we enjoyed exploring Cavendish, Kensington and North Rustico. We also ventured to Greenwich beach (worth the drive) and did the Dunes Beach Trail with amazing boardwalks.
Our favourite place to eat was Sou West and we got take-out to bring back to the cottage several times. We also enjoyed the Lobster Shack in Cavendish with amazing lobster poutine.
The cottage is in a great location, close to the famous Anne of Green Gables museum and you can drive the scenic north shore. We also visited Charlotte town and Summerside.
The yard of the cottage was very private and you could not see neighbours out back. Lots of room for the kids to play.
We would definitely return! Thank you!

As advertised. Very clean. Modern and bright. The kitchen had everything we needed. Nice size yard for outdoor games. Outdoor shower came in handy after the beach.
