ONE OF THE FIRST COTTAGES BUILT IN THE AREA BRIDGE COTTAGE SARGEANTS COTTAGE WAS BUILT IN 1823 BEFORE GOVERNOR SORELL PRONOUNCED THE TOWN OF RICHMOND.

THE SARGEANT WHO OVERSAW THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HISTORIC RICHMOND BRIDGE WAS HOUSED IN THIS COTTAGE.

ON ENTERING THE COTTAGE THE PEACE OF YESTERYEAR ENFOLDS YOU AS YOU STEP BACK IN TIME.

LOCATED METRES FROM THE HISTORIC RICHMOND BRIDGE AND A SHORT STROLL TO RICHMONDS ATTRACTIONS.

Thank you for your review. Glad you enjoyed your stay. We enjoyed having you stay at our cottage. The cottages have underfloor heating, wood and electric heating. We endeavour to maintain the historic appeal and ambiance of the cottages that guests enjoy. Modern ceramic heating and furnishings do not suit these historic cottages. Kind Regards
