Kyvale Cottage - Country retreat

Spacious 2 bedroom country cottage set in 5 acres of open horse paddocks with views across the valley to the spectacular ridges behind.
A Byron Bay Hinterland get away for couples seeking peace and serenity, but still close to the cafes and restaurants of Brunswick Heads and Mullumbimby, and the beaches of South Golden and New Brighton.

Relax on the deck and experience the beauty of the late afternoon light, while cooking some of the amazing local produce on the BBQ or just relax with a beverage around the firepit.
Your stay includes a welcoming committee including Bradley and Darcy our very friendly dogs and Tess, Karisma, Demi and Symbar our horses.

Everything you need within the cottage is provided, modern kitchen, TV, Wifi, books an board games, air conditioning and heaters for those cool nights.

The cottage is attached to the main house by a breezeway which is screened for privacy.

Situated only 30 minutes from Ballina or the Gold Coast airports, we are ideally situated for that well deserved short weekend getaway or long break

Beautiful place to stay!

Kyvale cottage was a great place to stay. It was very clean and well looked after. Robin was very welcoming, friendly and easy to deal with. I would recommend staying here.

Beautiful peaceful place to stay

Robin is a friendly and welcoming host and the Cottage is very comfortable and clean. A great place to stay, only ten minutes from the beach or cafes, but incredibly quiet and beautiful.

Great for a short escape.

Lovely relaxing holiday

We really enjoy staying at Kyvale. It is so very peaceful and relaxing but still close to beaches and the surrounding villages. The cottage is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Robin is a lovely host. We are already looking forward to our next holiday there!

Cottage with a View

My daughters and I enjoyed the peaceful setting with the added bonus of horses, and friendly dogs to pat. Everything was provided with comfy beds, modern kitchen and large bathroom with a lovely shower. It was very handy being close to Mullum and Brunswick Heads, as well as many bushwalks. Robin is very accommodating and kind.

A Special Place

It was a very comfortable, well laid out cottage with a lovely outlook over the countryside. Has a large front verandah on which to relax while enjoying the view. It was well appointed with all you need to have an enjoyable stay.

A beautiful Mullumbimby area -country stay

A beautiful setting in the Mullumbimby area - looking out onto the mountain range. Robyn, the hostess, was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the cottage accommodation - very well appointed. Robyn's two dogs were delightful.

Lovely cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Kyvale cottage. The cottage is beautifully presented with a full kitchen and lovely crisp linen. The Pocket is a quiet scenic area and the Main Arm General Store has a great Friday pizza night. We will be back!

A lovely weekend away

My sister and I had a wonderful weekend at the property with Robin and her menagerie. The accommodation was cosy and comfortable, with all the extra touches we needed to enjoy a weekend away. Extra points for all the love from the animals and the beautiful citrus!

Perfect peaceful getaway

Beautiful part of the world, very scenic, love the fact you aren’t far from town but feel like you’re far away. Robin the host is so lovely and couldn’t be more accommodating. This granny flat was impecable. It has full kitchen and laundry.. It has large tv and lounge, separate dining area, two bedrooms and spacious bathroom. The outlok is to farm area, very scenic. Just a short drive to town. Robin was so helpful and obliging.

Thoroughly recommended

We were looking for somewhere to stay near Mullumbimby and found Robin's wonderful place. It's not much to look at from the outside but it is a very well appointed cottage with everything you could wish for. Clean and modern. Robin is a super host and the location is terrific, if slightly distanced from amenities. Thoroughly recommended.
