Set on 20 picturesque acres 'Sailors Falls Estate' offers privacy, seclusion and luxury.

This Tuscan style property is situated in an idyllic environment for relaxation, celebration or just to chill out only a few minutes drive from the Daylesford town centre.

Three seperate accommodation options are housed within one large Villa building which can be utilised privately as separate apartments, with a spacious foyer, or can be fully booked to accommodate a group, wedding party or family of up to 10 guests in total.


Villat A: Self contained apartment containing 2 bedrooms, wood fire, large bathroom with spa, full kitchen, lounge and dining areas (sleeps up to 4). Pricing is for 1 o r 2 people using one of the 2 bedrooms. An extra charge of $20 applies for the use of the second bedroom

Enjoy your stay surrounded by a working vineyard (cellar door) and forest areas.

The Wine

Sailors Falls Estate vineyard is set on a rural property providing a tranquil setting to have a taste of their boutique hand cultured, cool climate wines such as pinot gris, pinot noir, gamay, rose, chardonnay and gewurtraminer.

The Pinot grape, being a lover of cool climates, relishes the areas cold, crisp winters and short dry summers.

Sailors Falls Estate wines can also be enjoyed in many local restaurants and by some local wine stores.

Take a taste and make a purchase at the cellar door : 11am to 5pm weekends and public holidays

Surroundings

Surrounded on two sides by the Wombat Forest and set on undulating land within a 20 acre property, the vineyard at Sailors Falls Estate was established in 1999. Conveniently located in Telegraph Road about 300 metres from the Ballan-Daylesford Road, the property is within walking distance of the acclaimed restaurant, Sault ,which has the Pinot Gris featured on their current wine list and Sailors Falls (waterfall and mineral spring).

The surrounding areas provide a plethora of activities for those who are away to play or away to relax. Spas, food and wellness venues at your call.

We enjoyed the Tuscan feel of the property and loved the cosy log fire at night. Sadly we did not get to meet Margaret but Robert showed us around in her place. Guests staying longer would have time to enjoy the spa bath or get the Pizza oven fired up. We didn’t have time explore any of the walking trails on this visit as it was mainly to catch up with family.

Wonderful Daylesford get away

This was our second visit to Daylesford so we wanted to stay somewhere abit different. I really loved the villa with the wood fire and amazing spa bath. Margaret was a fantastic host and her communication was great. We had everything we needed and especially loved the walk round to the waterfalls. It was such an amazing and peaceful setting for us and nice not to be in town but close enough to it. I highly recommend this stay for a couple or family or group of friends or even two families. This place ticks all the boxes. And we will be coming back and recommending to otherwise. For abit of fun in the area we also highly recommend the quad bike tours.

Perfect location

Great location, clean and tidy villa. The listing stated 2 bedrooms but the price is only for one so if you need the second bedroom you must let them know earlier and pay more for the bed to be made up. Found this a bit confusing as it is booked as a 2 bedroom villa and ideally wanted 2 separate bedrooms. Before arriving they will call you to find out exactly what you are staying for, what you are doing and at what time, so if you are a private person, be mindful of the call that will come ahead of check in. Overall very happy with the place and location and would recommend again.
