Amazing couple’s retreat!

My husband and I stayed at Station 451 to celebrate our 15th anniversary and had the most amazing time reconnecting with each other and with nature. The place was immaculately clean, adorably decorated and very cozy and romantic. We loved the outdoor shower, the waterfall, the covered porch living space to drink coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evenings. Brooke thought of everything we would need to make our trip special. We truly enjoyed every moment at the caboose!

Perfect couples’ getaway!

My boyfriend and I came here for a pre-Valentine’s day getaway and had the best time. The plan was to go skiing one day and to the casino the next. We had such an amazing time here though that we skipped the skiing! My boyfriend built us a bonfire one night and we watched the Super Bowl the next night while listening to the waterfall. I’ve never been to North Carolina before but staying here definitely made it one of my favorite trips ever!

Adorable

The location was perfect! You felt away from it all while still having the convenience of being close to major higways. The bathhouse was beautiful and the caboose was so cute and cozy. Brooke was an excellent host and I appreciated her responsiveness.

No detail overlooked.

Station 451 is perfection! Our family enjoyed all it had to offer. The cozy caboose, the luxurious depot/ bathroom and the best ever porch!!! It was also located close to the highway so we had quick and easy drives to the parks and TN. Absolutely recommend staying here. Hope to make it back in the summertime.

Unique cabin life

We choose this property due to the unique value. Normally we choose due to location and accessibility. This cabin is located just down from the blueridge pkwy, Cherokee and lots of other scenic areas to explore. The cabin itself was perfect. We sat outside and enjoyed the small water feature and covered patio. The bathhouse was the wife’s favorite as it is completely up to date. The only thing I had an issue with is I’m 6’2” and the ceiling in the cabin when you walk in and over the bed is just at that. I clipped my head 2 times on the ceiling. Other than that it was a glorious experience

Sleeping in a Caboose

This was such a cool property. Close enough to Waynesville and Asheville, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. It’s everything that the description said it was.

Station 451

The caboose and station were beautiful, peaceful, private and conveniently located. We saw many wonderful smokey's attractions but wished we had spent more time at the caboose. We really enjoyed the firepit after our late-night returns without the worry of quite hour restrictions. Thank you very much :-) Mike & Jenn

Beautifully decorated, comfortable, and CLEAN! Owners were friendly and easy to rent from!

Station 451 was a great place to stay! It was so cute and clean. It has a beautiful, inviting porch with comfy chairs, outdoor "smart" TV, and a nearby man made waterfall/stream that is very soothing to the soul! My girls and I spent a great deal of time by the fire pit too! The view is just amazing! The caboose is cozy and comfy with everything one would need for sleeping and the mini kitchen is gorgeous with all you need except ,of course, your food! The bathroom is off the porch and you will be pleasantly surprised at how large it is and how beautiful it is decorated! If you get the chance, and I hope you do, stay at Station 451 for your own personal experience at this awesome place! The owners are great! They are friendly, helpful, and willing to go over and beyond to make your stay the absolute best! Can't wait to come back next year!!!

The caboose and adjoining bath house were fabulous! All the little extras made for such a fantastic stay. The hosts thought of so many things to make the stay exceptional. Umbrellas, lanterns, snacks, mini fridge, the waterfall, the heater on the porch, the fire pit, the grill, the bathrobes and so many other little touches. Very welcoming!

Very unique and fun home. Great jumping off location for the Cataloochee Valley in the Smoky Mountains NP. Very Clean and nicely equipped. In a private rural setting, but civilization (Waynesville) is only about 15 minutes away. This is a home where the owner pays a lot of attention to details, and it makes for a very enjoyable stay.
