The main bed was really comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. It’s a great central location to explore the region. We even saw wallabies everyday in the surrounding gardens.
Kitchen well equipped. Parking excellent and safe. Beautiful home and quiet. Easy communications. Clean and very comfortable.Close to so many gorgeous beaches! Loved our time here
Our stay was wonderful, great location, the hosts were great made everything easy. The house was great, exactly as advertised and had everything we needed.
Lovely home with everything we needed for a fantastic holiday. The communication and information provided is very helpful and straightforward. Fabulous all round
Property is fantastic. Would be excellent for a large family. Everything you would ever need - and then some, is there for you on arrival.Great location.
We had a lovely time touring the area & the house was comfortable & nicely presented. Possible improvements would be to have a proper gas BBQ on deck & better outdoor seating for 6 people. We would come again.
This place was fantastic. Everything was as described. Location is spot on and just down the road from Narooma. Would recommend a holiday here for all age groups
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yabbarra Sands. Beach walks and days out - just a lovely unwind. The light at the top of the stairway is not working which really needs to be fixed plus the light in the upstairs bathroom.Otherwise everything was great.

Hi Bronwyn
I’m delighted that you enjoyed your stay in Dalmeny. Thank you so much for letting me know about those two light globes. When we hear of these things we can fix them straight away. Much appreciated. We hope you will visit again one day in the future.

This was such an easy property to stay in - it had everything we needed, was comfortable, easy for us to get to and from everywhere as we tripped all over the South Coast. We loved that there was two separate living spaces - one for the adults, and the mezzanine level where the teenagers could hang out and do their thing. Thanks for such a lovely house to stay.
This house is ideally located to the beautiful Yabarra Beach as well as Dalmeny, Kianga and Bar Beaches. Narooma is close by and Tilba Tilba and Bermagui are short drives away and worthwhile visiting. The house is comfortable and had what we needed. The garage is full of the owner's items so cannot be used, but there is ample parking for 1 car off road.
Great beach house suitable for a family in a magical place. House had fantastic facilities with everything we needed for a winter stay. Property manager was also very responsive & helpful. We’ll be back!
Yabbarra Sands was the perfect place for the family to unwind. Being close to beach meant that everyday was relaxing and the Lauren and Malcolm were excellent hosts. The house was well stocked with all that we needed plus the supplied amentites (books, games and TV) made for the perfect place to relax.
I highly recommend and we know we will be back.
We had a lovely time celebrating my mums 60th birthday. The property was great, clean and so many amenities. Loved playing table tennis, and relaxing on the deck. Really enjoyed exploring the surrounding beaches, all so beautiful and serene. We saw wallabies, seals, dolphins and emus. Overall a fantastic stay and trip to remember!
Amazing Easter holiday get away, veiws from upstairs amazing, so close to the beach, amazing weather, quite neighbours. The house has everything you need except an a/c unit, which might be needed in summer but was comfortable without.

About the host
Hosted by Lauren Perry
I live in Melbourne with my husband and we are retired. Our son is in the Australian army and our daughter, son-in-law and grand-daughter live close to us. I'm originally from the UK and my husband from Gippsland. We spend our year mainly at home but also in the UK, Austria and Turkey for 3-4 months. We both enjoy the outdoors. Malcolm is a surfer and tennis player and I love hiking, rowing and tennis. Dalmeny is our piece of heaven.
Why they chose this property
We enjoyed many holidays in Dalmeny before we had children so had fond memories of the area. Over a handshake in the Maldives where we were celebrating Malcolm's 40th birthday with friends, we agreed to buy Yabbarra Sands once it was built and have never regretted the decision.
What makes this property unique
Dalmeny is such a quiet, unspoiled and beautiful corner. The surf is good, the ocean is as blue as blue and wildlife abounds. There is a beach to suit everyone and all weathers including many lakes and sheltered areas for swimming, kayaking and canoeing. There are plenty of walks and places to explore, 4 wheel drive tracks, quaint towns, golf, cinema, boat trips, fishing, diving, snorkelling, cycling, arts and craft. The property is well equipped and a great place to relax if you feel like doing nothing at all except reading on the verandah and listening to the birds.
