Figtree Cottage - peaceful rural holiday

Come and stay at Figtree cottage set on rural property just a short walk or drive to Mystery bay beach for swimming/snorkeling/ diving and walking with your canine friend.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms with QB in each(blankets/doonas/electric blankets/pillows are supplied.
Sheets, towels and pillowcases supplied
Separate bathroom/toilet and laundry
Fully self contained kitchen with all utensils supplied Fridge/electric stove/ microwave/ toaster and jug
Lounge room with TV/DVD player and large dining room with CD player/books/jigsaws/and reverse cycle air conditioning
Veranda and patio to relax and unwind and to enjoy the sounds of the many birds and the peacefulness with the rural views and established garden and our very old figtree
Gas and wood barbeques are available.
We are situated 10 minutes drive north to Narooma 20 min drive south to Bermagui with Central Tilba close by. Eurobodalla National Park is close too with good beach fishing off 1080 beach also swimming and a long walk to mouth of Tilba Lake.

Tranquil setting.

A lovely place to stay with a tranquil atmosphere inside and out. A well equipped kitchen with great views over country to Bermagui and the ocean. Close to great beaches and interesting towns. Thoroughly recommend this place for anyone looking for a rest and recharge.

Figtree Cottage

We had 9 lovely nights at Figtree Cottage. Betty was a great host, popping in and on us to make sure we were happy with everything. The cottage was built around 1950’s, and original furniture is still there

Relaxing farm stay by the coast

Warmly welcomed by Betty,, our host and her little dog "Batman" .A very enjoyable week staying at "Figtree Cottage" Will highly recommend this property to friends and my husband and I will be making a return visit soon. Our 2 little dogs Daisy and Chloe had a lovely visit too.

This place is perfect. It’s comfortable, spacious, clean and we were able to bring our little dog as it is fully fenced. The hosts were really friendly and genuinely interested in us being comfortable and happy. Can highly recommend this cottage which is not only well located it is quiet too.

Home Away from Home

It is call proper peace and relax destination. We enjoyed our 2 nights with ultimate comfort. My daughter loved to run around the backyard and explore flowers and several type of fruits. Beach is just 2 min drive away. Betty and Collin are also like minded host. It was our absolute pleasure to stay their place..

Picturesque

Beautiful surroundings, lovely views from back porch looking over the countryside. Not far out from the town of Narooma and close to other beautiful country towns like Tilba. Betty the owner was very friendly and welcoming and loved the visits from Batman, their little dog. Would highly recommend staying at this beautiful property which is very close to Mystery Bay beach.

A Hidden Gem

The property is beautiful and the house is a neat, clean little cottage with most of the mod cons. The view is terrific and I’ll miss it when we get home. Betty is a wonderful host on arrival and then left us alone to enjoy the peace and birds in the area. The surrounding towns of Tilba Tilba and Bermagui are lovely with great food and pubs. The Bermagui Beach Hotel is a great place for a beer and the Boneless Cafe for coffee and breakfast. The beaches are pet friendly for the most part and spectacular to just swim or relax. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful

The property was spotless and clean. The garden was lovely and we loved watching and listening to all the birds that visited. Great outlook of rolling green pastures and the lake from the backyard. The kids loved playing the piano and the organ and our dog enjoyed meeting the cows at the back fence! The location is fantastic - just up the road from Mystery Bay. Overall the property had everything we needed. Would love to come back again. Thanks Betty!

Lovely farmstay

We loved our mini break at mystery bay. Check in was easy, Betty (owner) was nearby and easy to communicate with. The house was restful - fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely hot shower. Air conditioning, if required. Short drive (or 15 min walk) to beach. 15 min drive to Narooma or central Tilba. My little dog and I loved the acreage - Betty informed us that the cows had been moved off the paddocks - so it was free range walking for us, each afternoon. PERFECT scenario. We’ll be back.Possibly in spring!

Lovely experience in a special place

Our first time at Figtree Cottage - although we know the area well - exceeded all expectations. The house is comfortable and perfectly equipped for a holiday stay, including being a safe, pet-friendly environment for our small dog, and the views and peacefulness of the location are lovely. The host responded to questions promptly and helpfully, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We loved it!

Pet friendly holiday property near the beach

This property was extremely clean and well presented. It was a short drive to the beach and to the delights of Tilba. The beds, linen and pillows were so comfortable they are worth noting. Betty, the property owner, was extremely kind and welcoming. She was available if needed but otherwise unobtrusive.

Fig Tree Cottage

We enjoyed our week's stay at Figtree Cottage which is only two minute drive from Mystery Bay Beach and short drive to Tilba, Cobargo and Narooma. The Cottage provided a peaceful and relaxing get away. When not out and about - we kept warm in the cosy heated lounge and dining areas. There's a TV with a dvd player, plus books and board games. The beds were comfy and had electric blankets.

Such a welcoming stay

We loved our time here. A big house, with plenty of room for kids and a beautiful property too look out over. So close to Mystery Bay and Tilba. Betty was such an accommodating host and even posted us a few things we left behind. Great spot for a family holiday.
