Bellbird Lakeside Cottage

FULLY FENCED AND GATED - cosy private one bedroom cottage by the lake set in a beautiful garden with relaxing water views and access to fishing and walking tracks. Wake up to lake views and the sound of bell birds in this tranquil piece of nature.
Fishing rods, prawning tools, a new Stand Up Paddle board and a fibre glass single kayak are available at the house to be used and looked after by the guests.

It has a locked up dog enclosure under the rear deck

It’s the perfect cottage for us, 70s couple with 2 little dogs. All on single level, very comfortable, beautiful garden, lake view & lots of birds. Great hosts too.Our third (2 week) visit & we don’t like to leave.

A great getaway

We had a fabulous week at Bellbird Lakeside Cottage. The house was clean and comfortable and a great base for lots of local exploring and adventures. A really tranquil setting. Our dog Levi had a great stay too. Will definitely be back!

Just Lovely

This property is just simply lovely. It is charming and has everything that you need. Also has great amenities and is stocked with ample kitchenware etc. Can't say enough good things about it. Our doggie "Ollie" loved it as well.

Great Pet Friendly accommodation

This was the first time we have taken our Groodle on a weekend away with us. The accommodation exceeded expectations. The booking process went smoothly. The house was clean and stocked with everything we could want. The location was superb. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Bitter sweet

Property was amazing. Location also was great. But the property manager forgot to keep the keys in the key box. We were stranded for over 35 mins. We finally got a hold of the owner and he hped us out with the spare key that he had kept hidden.

Cosy cottage, beautiful location.

What a perfect spot! Situated right on the edge of Wallaga Lake and midway between the two local jewels, Bermagui and Tilba, this is an ideal holiday house for a getaway with everything - water views, beach going, eating, drinking, local history & shopping for unique treasures. To top it off, Ovi is a very welcoming host.

Location Location!

We were over the moon with our choice of accommodation. It was exactly as specified and more. Owner was very communicative and very generous in regards to our stay. We will definitely be returning in the near future! What a beautiful find! Can’t wait to return!

A beautiful spot

A very comfortable cottage with very supportive host and property manager. Lovely property manager went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. An updated bbq would be good as that deck cry’s out for a peaceful sunset bbq dinner! A magical spot where we were able to relax and unwind. Thank you for having us.

Beautiful location

Loved the property and location. Dog enclosure too small for our dog, and unfortunately no fences between this and neighbouring house. Also balcony not secure enough for dog. Loved the house and the lake and the location.

Great place let down by experience with owner

Our time at Beauty Point Wallaga Lake was one of two experiences. Firstly the good points: the property is in a lovely spot being on the lake front, is quiet and close to some lovely walks from the cottage and great places by car. However, we had an issue with the cleaning and cooking facilities that prompted me to contact the owner. The freestanding cooker’s oven was filthy; the controls were covered in grease. Furthermore, there are no visible settings on the oven and hob controls as they have been worn away, so you are working blind, once you have cleaned the grease off them. Additionally, there were no oven trays to place food on; the only saucepans available were 2 X 1 Litre saucepans and 1 X 7 litre saucepan. Ridiculous for self-catering. I raised the above issues with the owner and got this back “What you see is what you get. From hundreds of people that stayed over all managed to make use of the premises”. So somewhat alarmed I raised this with VRBO who agreed with me that the owners tone was inappropriate to the extent that I was refunded 15% as valued repeat VRBO customer. The owner’s manner is hostile and should think more of his paying customers. Shame!

We enjoyed our time at Beauty Point. The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the beautiful areas of Bermagui, Wallaga Lake, Dalmeny, Kianga and Narooma. Being immersed in the sounds of the bellbirds and the tranquility of the lake was very special. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us and our furbaby.
