About this property
Glamping nature escape at ‘Black Wattle’ 5 minutes from pristine empty beaches
This natural retreat space is located within minutes of pristine beaches, National Parks and a short drive from the coastal holiday towns of Bermagui and Tathra.
This camping experience is within 250 acres of privately owned forested land meters from the banks of the Murrah River. Your stay includes a spacious 5.5 metre round Bell Tent with a comfortable queen bed, lounge chairs, coffee table and clothes storage. You can cook on an open fire with hotplates and skillets provided our hit us up for a pre-made camp oven stew.
The property is almost entirely forested with an array of vegetation community types including wetlands, riparian, coastal rainforest, open spotted gum forest and coastal scrub. We welcome you to immerse yourself in the varied terrain by foot or bike. You can explore the hillside and ridges, or have a gentle meander and swim down by the river.
For a return to civilisation, Bermagui is an easy 15 minutes drive to the North and boasts an array of cafes and restaurants, fresh seafood and supply stores
This property is an evolving space with strong roots in community sufficiency and environmental and regenerative initiatives. Please note that access to the camp is AWD only when wet. 2WD parking is a 2 minute walk from the campsite. The driveway is not suitable for low clearance vehicles.
