Thanks , so glad you enjoyed your time at the Cottage and your stroll to Hidden Lake. Im sure you spotted plenty of birds and Roos on your walk. Thank you for leaving the Cottage tidy. Much appreciated! I would be happy to host you and your family again sometime
Chris was such a welcoming host, the cottage was lovely and had super resources (my test: can you make a pavlova without being your own equipment? Passed in full here!), and the most beautiful garden, land and TENNIS COURT!!! Our family had the most wonderful stay.

Thanks Emily. Good to know we passed the pavlova test! When we set up the house I like to think of it as a place we would like to stay ourselves. We are always open to suggestions though. Emily and her family were great guests , friendly and respectful and they left the house very tidy. We would be happy to host them again
What a lovely cottage, it had everything we needed to make our stay truly enjoyable. We loved the peace and quiet away from the busyness, and especially enjoyed seeing the local wildlife. Being able to bring our dog made it extra special, and she absolutely loved the walks around the farm. Thank you, Chris, for being such a wonderful host.

Thank you for staying at the cottage . It was a real pleasure to meet you and I'm so glad that you really enjoyed your stay at our special property.
Kangarutha Cottage is a lovely 70s style cottage with great amenities set in a beautiful garden on a gorgeous rural/ bush property. Super peaceful. Loved staying here with my two dogs, will definitely come again. (Note that the fences on the property are quite low so if you have a larger agile dog that is motivated to explore they could easily make a bid for freedom ;) ). Keen to try out the camp sites on the property too, they look fantastic. Thanks!
We stayed a week and glad we did. The cottage is in a great location with surrounding bush and farm land. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything that we needed. The slow combustion fire kept us warm at night and the bedding is comfortable, The location is quiet and peaceful, and communication with the hosts was excellent.
Thank you for having us stay, and we will definitely be back.

The cottage is well maintained and fully equipped with everything you will need. Kids loved riding their bikes and playing tennis on the tennis court. The beds were comfy and the location is peaceful and quiet. Gorgeous gardens and lots of wildlife. Great location 5 mins drive to Tathra, 15 mins to Bega. We look forward to staying again.

Our family live also on the property. We really love welcoming people to our property and are happy for guests to explore the natural places on our land. . I ride horses as do our agistees and you will often see horses being attended to at the horse shed just near the cottage.
Why they chose this property
We have owned the property since the 1960's and we now have the 4th generation living and working here. We love this area and we know how fortunate we are to own such a wonderful part of the world. Looking after this small piece of paradise is our passion
What makes this property unique
This property is on the edge of tall coastal forest. Much of it is timbered and as such hosts many native plants, animals and birds, from gliders, to Pygmy possums , Ringtails, Kangaroos and wallabies, and over 100 species of birds. Kangarutha Farm was once home to a well known and loved Garden Centre and Wholesale Nursery which is now being redeveloped into a fabulous event space. It is one of the closest private properties to Tathra (1.6 km) and all that it offers
