Close to all the great attractions, this house will immediately make you feel right at home when you walk through the door! The Cottage at The Woodburn Bungalows is a turn-of-the century, renovated home and has everything you need to feel cozy and comfortable. The bathroom is beautifully renovated with heated floors.

This cozy home is uniquely designed with interesting nooks and bedrooms that you will find super charming! The main floor features the bathroom, living room and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with new stainless steel appliances, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender, all the necessary utensils, cookware, a large selection of spices and complimentary coffee, creamer, sweetener, and tea. Follow the stairs leading to the laundry room and garden level bedroom. The lower bedroom has French doors that open onto the patio and nicely landscaped backyard.

A washer and dryer, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, an iron and ironing board are also provided for your convenience.

We are pet-friendly and accept up to two small to medium-sized dogs! For special situations, please get approval from us before booking. Thank you.

This home is the perfect getaway for family vacations, friend getaways, business/conference events at The Broadmoor, and other events such as The Fallen Fireman Memorial. Whether you want to stay for 3 nights or 30, we would love to have you! For stays longer than 30 nights, please inquire! Book for 7 nights and receive a 15% discount!

This is a great property close to the Broadmoor. Hosts were very responsive. Rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. Great to have full kitchen and washer/dryer. Parking works well also for 2 vehicles. Will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Quirky cabin in a great location

We loved staying in this quirky cabin. It is centrally located and easy to hop on the freeway to be able to explore many great spots in Colorado Springs. It is also close to some fun bars/restaurants.

The property is impeccably clean. The maintenance folks should be congratulated. The house is accurately described in the listing. In addition the thought that went into the detailed conveniences (new coffee maker, doggie bag dispenser, shower gel, ect) is the best if any place we have stayed.

Greetings and welcome! I am a fifth-generation Colorado native and I have lived in Colorado Springs my entire life. The majority of my family also live in Colorado Springs or the surrounding areas.
For over 30 years, I have owned and operated a landscaping/grounds maintenance and property management business that cares for over 130 of the most beautiful estates in the immediate Broadmoor area.
I live just 2-minutes from The Woodburn Bungalows and I am personally available should you need me.

Why they chose this property

"The Woodburn Bungalows" (The front house and cottage in back) were built in 1924 and the architecture of these turn-of-the century homes had an eye-catching charm and interesting appeal. The property sat in a neglected state for many years. I believe most people who purchase investment property would have leveled the houses, only to build a modern looking site which would have lost the historic feel of the area. For so many years I had been drawn to this property and I thought about purchasing it. Finally, knowing the houses would be challenging, inside and outside, I purchased them in 2014. After 24 months of hands-on restoration, remodeling, purchasing new everything and installing the new landscaping, I listed them for sale. After just a couple of months, I took them off the market and decided to turn them into vacation rentals. The truth be told; I believe I became attached! When you pull in, immediately you are transported back to a different time and the property gives off such a positive, cheerful feeling. When it is quiet at night you can hear Cheyenne Creek and watch the deer and other wildlife wondering about. The house and the cottage each have a quirky charm all of their own.
