Fall asleep to the sounds of the waves ,wake to the sounds of our native birds and the start of a perfect day exploring the many wonders of this beautiful area.

Short stroll to various access points of Putty Beach and Bouddi National Park .

It has something for everybody.....Secluded beaches coastal rain forest, scenic day walks for all levels within the Bouddi National Park. Also explore the various waterways and tributaries by boat, Kayak or ferry.

Walking distance to local restaurants, bottle shop and general store.

Just a one hour drive north from Sydney making it an easy getaway for weekends and short stays.

Grannies Cottage.

Grannies Cottage proved a lovely stay. Very clean and had everything I needed. The host was very obliging and communication with her excellent. I would definitely recommend.

Granny's Gem

Gorgeous accommodation at Granny's. Everything we could wish for was provided and only a short distance to both Killcare Beach and Hardy's Bay. Also just minutes away from the start of the Bouddi National Park coastal walk. A very enjoyable stay..

Amazing property and location

Granny's cottage is spacious with such beautiful touches and meticulously clean. The baked goodies were absolutely delicious and breakfast provisions abundant. The cottage is an easy stroll to Putty beach, Killcare and Bouddi

Charming Cottage

My husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing and peaceful two night stay at Granny’s Cottage. Our host Kathryn was very pleasant and she went out of her way to make our stay a memorable one. We enjoyed the special food treats, condiments, cakes etc, plus Breakfast supplies. The bed was so comfortable and the cottage was very clean. The location is not far from the Bouddi Coastal walk, so we were able to enjoy a day out with fabulous weather while enjoying the coastal walk. We would certainly recommend a stay at Granny’s Cottage, with a host like Kathryn you will not be disappointed. Lorna & Phill

It was a great location close to local shops cafe etc and walks into the NP the ferry was excellent with family facilities all based across the river. Ripper

Putty Beach getaway

My husband and I had two fabulous days at Kathy's. It was a heatwave - topping out at 39 Celsius - so we did the glorious walk to Maitland Bay through the Bouddi National Park early and spent the rest of our time lolling in the beautiful clear waters of Putty Beach and enjoying the excellent air conditioning and breakfasts at 'home'. A truly serene experience. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! Kathy's place is great.

Exceptional in every way

The cottage is immaculately maintained with a very homely feel. Centrally located but away from the bustle of more well known parts of the coast. Kathy's extra touches (e.g. cakes on arrival, breakfast basket) made our late night arrival and first breakfast the next morning so easy. Cannot recommend highly enough. We intend to be regular guests.

Superb hospitality

We had a wonderful stay. Kathy is a great host and it really feels like staying in the home of a friend (or grandma). The warm welcome, fresh baking, fridge full of goodies - all made our weekend break just perfect. Granny’s is a brilliant spot to explore the Killcare region and we loved the beach, bush, cafes and dining at Bells. We hope to come again.

Excellent location and accomodation

What a great little surprise this property is. Excellent location amidst nature on the Putty/Killcare Beach Reserve but only minutes flat walk to either beach. 10 minute walk to great coffee either at Killcare Beach or at Hardys Bay. Lots of surprises from the host including port, Easter eggs, and other great food supplies. Brilliant twin showers in bathroom, comfy bed, and lovely verandah amidst the tree tops. Very relaxing.

Summer holiday 2021

We had a great time! Kathy was super kind, the place was very clean, the location was excellent. Only the memorable thing we wouldn’t forget that we drove into a ditch when we entered the place from the other side of the road, and Kathy helped us to get a tow truck to pull the car out. I may suggest you to put something between trees so that no one else will make the same mistake as us.

Beautifully presented with attention to detail.

Granny’s Cottage was a step back in time. Beautifully presented with extras including port, choccies and a well equipped fridge of goodies for breakfast. Comfortable and well appointed getaway with a fantastic shower and comfy bed. Our host thought of everything - even a birthday cake for my husband! So close to the beach but private and peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful weekend away.

Clean and cool

My daughter and I really loved this place, and would definitely stay again. Everything we needed was catered for, and we were able to relax and enjoy the area. We stayed during a heatwave and the aircon kept the place really comfortable. Highly recommended.

Wonderful ocean breeze stay!

The studio is better than in the pictures! Lots of very cute and thoughtful touches. Very comfortable and roomy, and excellent cleanliness! The double shower is an awesome touch :) At night we could hear the ocean, such a dream to fall asleep to.

Recharge weekend

We have had a wonderful stay at Granny's Cottage. As a couple of weary parents, this getaway provided everything we needed; comfort, quiet and the opportunity to recharge. Our host couldn't have been friendlier. She was attentive and generous with her preparations of the property and we felt right at home straight way. We will visit Granny's Cottage again!
