This little cottage was absolutely perfect for out weekend away. It was comfortable, clean and warm. Lots of comforts to make the stay one of the best we've had in Ballarat.
Lovely cottage in good location. Clean, comfortable and personal touches were left by host Donna. We would definitely recommend a stay here in gorgeous Ballarat.

Everything you could possibly need is there. The outside decking was great for relaxing on a hot evening.

A gem!
Exactly as listed, it was comfortable, clean and centrally located, everything you need for a great stay. Communication was excellent - I was really happy to have found this gem.
We really enjoy staying at this property. There's everything you would need and more. The heating is great, mod cons like dishwasher, off street parking. I'm sure we'll be back.. thankyou..👍
It was just so easy, from the check in to the check out. It was lovely and clean and a perfect location for us to go to and from the basketball stadium. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay in Ballarat. If i could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Great little property!
Enjoyed our stay! House was clean, comfortable and warm!! The fireplace made the cold Ballarat nights nice and cosy. The house is nicely renovated but still has its traditional character. The location was good with all tourist attractions / kids activities within a short distance. The owner was very helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. The house had everything we wanted and we'd happily stay here again when next in Ballarat, thanks!
Donna has a really nice cottage, comfy and all the amenities you need. No Internet but that is OK. We made use of the lovely gas heater on an unexpected cold January day.
Thanks for having us.

To be honest we were somewhat disappointed, the overall cleanliness left a bit to be desired, some of the kitchen utensils were greasy and needed a bit of a wash before using. Also had to give the shower floor a once over as looked a bit dirty. The heating in the lounge area was great, an a/c and gas fire. Unfortunately the mobile radiator struggled to warm the rest of the house.
We booked based on all the other reviews and maybe we are just a bit too picky. Thanks
The house was a pleasure to stay in for 2 days.It was clean and the rooms very much out of the Edwardian period. The main bed was very comfortable and the space avaialble was more than most houses. It has a well equiped kitchen with lots of eupiment but a simple coffee machine may have helped. The rear porch area was a major positive and on a good night made outdoor dining easy. It is a well locoated house and no issues with off street parking. Ballarat is easy to navigate and this house is in a quiet part of town. Its not in walking distance of the centre but has a close shoppoin zone and pubs. Its worth staying and the owner is pleasant and aware of the need to keep rental low but not scrim on ammenities. you will need the internet connected to your phone, as we found out but we managed.
We stayed here for a weekend. We had bicycles and the back yard was perfect for storing them under cover. Could even lock the side gate. Donna has made this cottage very comfortable for a stay. The bed was comfortable, with a warm quilt. It was a cold weekend and we were warm enough with the heat pump in the lounge room and the gas fireplace for ambience. Small touches like good quality towels, small amenities, soap, milk, jams, butter, tea, coffee, laundry powder, and pegs. Kitchen has plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils to cook meals. Full size fridge. We did not make use of the back deck which would be inviting in warmer weather, or the laundry facilities. Felt very comfortable and welcome and would highly recommend this cottage.
