We could not fault this property. Plenty of space for our family to relax in. Comfortable and warm for our winter stay. We would stay at this property again.
This is a beautiful home and we will stay here again. The attention to detail is amazing and we couldn’t fault anything. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Ballarat.
This property is a beautiful house located centrally, near the train station. House was beautiful, and had everything you could need for a stay. Having room to move inside, as well as a lovely backyard also is vital when you have a family and this house ticked all the boxes.
Perfect stay, beds were comfortable, house was spotlessly clean and in the perfect location. If i ever stay in Ballarat again i'd certainly look if this place is available
The house was very beautiful. Well renovated bathroom and kitchen leaving that old world charm in other parts of the house, supported by antique furniture.
We stayed for 2 nights. Check in was so easy and Tom gave lots of information up front so we could plan our trip. The house has just been renovated and is beautiful and clean. The shower is hot and has great pressure. The washer/dryer is excellent when travelling. The kitchen has everything you need to make a great family meals. The beds are very comfortable. We had a great time in ballara.
What a charming vintage home - which has been beautifully renovated!
Host Tom was kind enough to check in to see how we were doing.
Kiddos appreciated the little goodies left in the kitchen.
This is an immaculately presented home that was spotlessly clean. It is in a quiet neighbourhood close to restaurants and Ballarat Station and CBD. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Ballarat.
The house was lovely. Tom is a great host a few problems on our first visit but on a return visit all these things were taken care of and we had a wonderful stay. Can’t think Tom enough for his hard work and quick replies.
This spot was perfect for me. I was into town for a conference. I was able to walk to every session and even pop back in breaks. The cottage is very comfortable. I would love to come back in a different season. The garden was flowering its head off which only made it more special. I am only sorry my conference budding missed out!
Really enjoyed our stay at this immaculate, spacious property.
A couple of things to mention though...the beds in both double rooms are extra high. May suit some, but if you are short or not so flexible very difficult to climb into { I used lounge room footstool as a step}
You will hear train horns occasionally throughout the night, so if you are a light sleeper it may bother you.
However these are only minor issues that will impact a few. Overall excellent property.

Nightmare weekend.
A stunningly renovated heritage cottage that was cold and unfortunately uncomfortable.
The lounge is too low and extremely difficult for older people to get out of. Mattress hard and pillows even harder. A beep continually sounded…non stop.
The property was not pet friendly as all the gates were at least 8 to 10inches off the ground, allowing little dogs to climb under and run out onto a busy road. The key lock needs replacing as it was too hard for me to close it up on leaving.
The shower florr is treacherously slippery…very dangerous.
But I guess the worst thing was, 2 hours after we arrived my husband suffered a stroke and is still in Ballarat hospital.
I spent the weekend alone and then had to drive home on my own, so I guess this influenced my review.
The owners have truly renovated the property beautifully and everything you could need was provided.
Immaculate home with quality, comfortable furnishings and everything you need to feel at home. We all had the best sleeps (sleep ins, actually) and enjoyed the close proximity to town and shopping/cafes. Despite the central location and being close to rail line, we found it to be a quiet neighbourhood. Communication with the host was excellent prior to and during the stay. We highly recommend this property for families or groups of adults on a trip away.
