Easy access to Nice airport, beaches and mountains. The apartment is situated with the 20 hectare private residence Domaine du Loup outside Cagnes-sur-mer in forest, olive groves and beautifully maintained gardens. The private Club has restaurant with outdoor terrance, 50m pool, gym, tennis and kids playground.

A spacious, modern apartment that afforded us plenty of comfort during our stay.

A fantastic base from which to explore Nice and the surrounding coast. Set in lovely private gardens the apartment was spacious for the 4 of us, comfortable in modern surroundings and private. The balcony on three sides was a bonus allowing plenty of light into the living space. We would have no hesitation in recommending this rental to friends and certainly would consider a return visit. Many thanks.

Wonderful stay in Le Riou

Wir (5 Personen, 17 bis 53 Jahre) verbrachten zwei wundervolle Wochen in der großzügigen und gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung. Die Lage eignet sich optimal für Ausflüge in die entzückenden mittelalterlichen Dörfer und Städte an der Küste und im Hinterland. Verschiedene Strände, vor allem der teilweise sandige Rosy Beach sind in mit dem Auto in einigen Minuten zu erreichen. Ebenso Supermärkte, Bäckerei.... Sollte man ohne Auto unterwegs sein, so fährt ein Bus direkt von der Wohnanlage. Der Vermieter ist äußerst entgegenkommend und freundlich. Durch die überdachten Balkone und Markisen ist es auch bei hohen Außentemperaturen in der Wohnung von der Temperatur her angenehm.

Attention! propriétaire malhonnête!

Attention!! Appartement est grand mais ancien et pas du tout propre. à notre arrivée le ménage n'était pas fait on a payé la femme de ménage de notre poche pour rendre l'appartement habitable. Après notre départ le propriétaire malgré l'accord qu'on avait il ne nous a pas rendu la caution sous prétexte d'avoir payé le ménage de sorti !

Dear Holiday Makers - I have been renting my apartment out since 1998 and with HomeAway since 2003. More than 250 families have rented this apartment through me over this time and this is the first negative review I have ever had. The apartment is always very clean as I use a professional cleaner before each holiday let. For holiday lets I do not take a damage or cleaning deposit and fortunately in the 16 years I have rented the apartment out have never needed to as there have always been fantastic tenants staying. The tenant who wrote this this review was not a holiday maker but a local person who stayed for 7 months and left the apartment in May 2014 without paying the last month's rent. Unfortunately we had a disagreement over an unpaid utility bill and costs to put the apartment back to the way the tenant had found it. Hundreds of families have had a great summer holiday experience in my apartment as it's spacious, quiet, well-located and offered at a reasonable price. Spent a great stay with my family there.

Its a large, clean apartment with full facilities. You will love this apartment when you arrive and have confidence to use all inside. The neighbour who lives the other side is very kind, nice and helpful. The club house is also worth to go. But they only have French description and the lady can't understood English. We only gave up to use the club house facilities. Yeah, will definite recommend to my friends or relatives.

Spacious apartment in good location

My husband and I spent a week in July here with 3 teenagers. The apartment was very spacious, with a large lounge/dining room that had 2 sets of patio doors out to the balcony, 3 good sized bedrooms, all with access to balcony, 2 bathrooms, one had a wall mounted shower and seperate toilet, the other had a hand held shower. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a freezer and washing machine in a cupboard off the balcony which was handy. The balcony went round 3 sides of the apartment, although only one side getting the sun in the morning. There are 5 blocks of high-rise flats here, this block being 13 floors high, but it was surprisingly quiet and very residential with trees and grass surrounding the area. Having a parking space in the garage kept the car cool. There is no grocery shop there now, and supermarket 10 mins. drive away. A shop would have been handy to get fresh rolls/bread in the mornings! The cost of using the club added nearly 200 euro to our week.Tickets have to be bought in books of 10 for 62 euro and weekly passes cannot be bought during the week, which was a pity when we arrived on a Thursday! It has a lovely, large, clean pool, although very deep for the majority of it, which only got busy at the weekend. There is a games room off poolside, a toddlers' pool for young children, play area and tennis courts, which get busy in the evenings. There is a restaurant which is handy if you do not want to drive. We are used to driving abroad but found the local roads very confusing and congested with a lot of tolls on the motorways, perhaps it would have been better to take the bus from the apartments to the local train station and use the trains! We did enjoy visiting Nice, Cannes, St Tropez and Monaco while staying there. We would not hesitate in recommending this spacious apartment to friends. We had very prompt correspondence with the owner.

The apartment has been in the family since the residence was built in the late 1960s and was bought as a holiday home by our French grandfather, who was in the wine business in Burgundy. We inherited it in 1997 and the apartment was renovated in 2016. We live with our 2 daughters in Kent, England.
