There are so many things to do and places to go in and around Phillip Island. Norsø is less than 10 minutes drive from the Penguin Parade which is a MUST DO for all Phillip Island visitors - bring your coats and scarves because it gets chilly in winter! Thompson Avenue is the main street of Cowes town with many cafes, coffee shops, boutiques as well as Coles/Aldi/Woolworths. For the best coffee on the Island head down the road to the lovely ladies at The Store where you will find the most unique homewares and artisan gifts along with a mini florist and bespoke butcher.
In winter the best spot to go is Grossard Point to watch the sun go down on the western whale watching point in Ventnor, or bare the winds at Nobbies to see the blowhole and stunning seascape views at the edge of the Island. For all you surfies there’s the popular Smiths Beach and Cape Woolamai, you can book surfing lessons in at Smiths over summer too.
Phillip Island Chocolate factory and Rhyll’s fishing are the perfect places to take your family if you’re in need of a day away from the stunning beaches that wrap around the entire Island.
Enjoy everything that Phillip Island has to offer!
