We loved everything about this place and recommend it to anyone wanting a dog friendly getaway! This honestly was the best place to bring our dog - we had the entire lake and the water wasn’t deep at all. The house is less than 10 min drive to Hyams Beach, Huskisson etc. We visited Plantation Point Reserve and explored all the dog friendly beaches along there. Ian also brought out the kayak and let us borrow his fishing rod (unfortunately we forgot to buy bait!) House is clean and well looked after. Ian and Maria were so accommodating. We enjoyed our weekend and look forward to staying here again soon!

Maria was super responsive in the lead up to our arrival. Ian met us when we arrived, showed us around, and shared a bunch of helpful local tips making sure we were comfortable for our stay. The place was clean, well set up, and felt properly looked after. The views were beautiful, and there were plenty of little touches and basics that made it feel more like home. A House Boat without the rocking.

Loved our stay at the Boathouse. Beautiful tranquil spot, right on the water. Looking out from the lounge area you would think you are on a boat.The interior layout is perfect for a couple and well appointed, with everything you need for your stay.Sit back and relax, watching the water, and the black swans cruising by, while the Kangeroos sit off to your side.Thanks Maria and Ian for being great hosts.

Comfortable Private Waterfront

The property is a very private waterfront cottage with all required amenities. Great location and host was very hospitable. Kangaroos on dawn & dust and the sound of the water lapping at your doorstep. Great location to explore the local area - highly recommended.

A perfect getaway for some much needed rest and recovery!

Friendly, welcoming hosts, a great location "away from the hustle & bustle" but with everything you could want conveniently located nearby. Plenty of interesting places to explore as well. The boathouse is the very definition of relaxation. My partner, myself and our little fur baby, all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again as soon as possible.
