Welcome to Lefty’s Jewel, a beautifully updated 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath home located in the exclusive St. George Island Plantation community. Just 1.5 blocks from the beach, this private retreat features a gulf-view deck, private pool, and en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom — making it ideal for families or couples seeking comfort, privacy, and convenient access to the best of SGI.

The home comfortably sleeps six guests across three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, Roku-equipped TV, and balcony access. The layout includes a California King primary suite, a Queen guest room, and a Queen + Kids’ Bunk room — perfect for families traveling with children. All bathrooms were recently renovated, and new carpet was installed throughout the home in April 2025. The spacious primary bath features a luxurious double walk-in shower for two.

The main living area offers gulf views, ample seating, and an inviting space for gathering. The fully renovated kitchen is equipped with crisp white cabinetry, stone countertops, and four barstools for casual dining. Adjacent, the dining area comfortably seats six.

Outside, guests can unwind in the large backyard featuring a private pool with tanning shelf (also perfect as a kiddie pool). A deluxe PK charcoal smoker grill is available for those who love to cook outdoors, and the hot water outdoor shower makes rinsing off after the beach a breeze.

Strictly a NON-SMOKING PROPERTY - inside and outside of the home.

The Plantation, a private, gated community at the west end of the island offers 24/7 security. The Plantation has a clubhouse, 2 community pools, a fitness center, pickle ball courts and 3 tennis courts for your enjoyment. There are also over 5 miles of paved bike/walking trails.


OCCUPANCY - Strict 6 person max capacity.

*Peak seasons and holidays may have a minimum night stay requirement.

NOTE - Our home employs a Nest doorbell for security.

'Host Fee' on price details includes a $100 Plantation Community fee and a $250 Cleaning Fee. These fees are flat and fixed, regardless of the length of stay. The community fee is required by St. George Plantation for all rental guests. It includes use of all Plantation amenities (e.g. Pickleball, Tennis, Fitness Center, Community Pools).

Great Place

Perfect! Lovely home with EVERYTHING you would need! Plenty of paper products, hand soaps, night lights, hair dryers, etc.....kitchen greatly stocked! Beach chairs, bikes, floats, beach toys, lots of games, puzzles and DVD ‘s. The outside shower is fantastic! Very nice pool. 3 minute walk to the beach at the most! Highly recommend this property!

Arrived the day Fred hit. Got to house two hours before bridge was closed. Winds were pretty strong. Property manager allowed us to check in early to miss being out in storm. Had great vacation after storm was over. Beautiful weather and loved the pool.

great location

We enjoyed the house and St. George Island! The house is a short walk to the beach and has all the essentials. We saw dolphins from the balcony multiple days. The pool is also nice and would be even better if it was heated. The master bedroom upstairs could use a nicer bed as my husband and I both dealt with back pain for the week. And most of the beach chairs provided were not in usable shape. But overall the house serves its purpose and we loved our vacation! The fishing was great as well. We had no issues with the owners and they were extremely easy to work with. We met one of the owners when we arrived a little early and he was accomadating and helpful. We will be back for sure!

We really loved the property and the location to the beach. We enjoyed the four bikes and used them each day. The home is well laid out and well equipped, we grilled out and used the kitchen about half of our meals and enjoyed the local restaurants the other half. The only thing negative we would say is for a March vacation we would have loved a heated pool and a hot tub. Maybe a thermal blanket for the pool would help? We used the clubhouse pools also but again not heated. Again this is the only negative, the house is literally a 2 minute walk from the #6 beach in Florida

Great location & amenities

This house is in a gated community. So lots of privacy & room on the beach. You have access to the clubhouse (fitness center, community pools, etc). This house has it’s own pool which was clean & great size for our family of 7. Lots of biking & walking trails. Beds were comfortable & lots of bathrooms. Very clean. Walk to beach is 5 minutes. House has some beach chairs, body board, sand toys & coolers & 4 bicycles. Grill is park like grill vs movable Webber or propane style. You are about 10-15 minute drive to town center. I would definitely stay here again. Danielle was very easy to get a hold of & very responsive.

We had an awesome stay at this property on St George Island. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool area was very nice. We especially liked the location just a short walk to an uncrowded section of beach. Great area to walk and ride bikes. We highly recommend this property.

Summer Beach Trip

Lefty’s Jewel had a very nice layout and, though it is not beach front, we had gulf views from the main living area. Home was well appointed and met our needs. The pool area was very nice and, with small children, we spent much of our time there. The fenced in yard was great for our dogs. The kids enjoyed the provided pool/beach toys. The walk to the beach was very short. Overall, nice place to stay!

We had such an amazing week staying in this beautiful home. The layout is perfect for enjoying time in the common areas and also separation with bedrooms. Lefty's Jewel is a Gem of a Beach Home

This pet-friendly home is exceptionally maintained and well-appointed. From its pool & fenced yard, three balconies & immaculate interiors, we were impressed. Came away from our vacay relaxed & happy. OUTSIDE: Shady double-garage has ample parking and easy trash disposal. Poolside there's a dog water bowl, a safely fenced & securely gated yard & plenty of pool chairs. The main pool has built-in shelf seating so you can swim or just soak. There's a separate, shallow (approx. 8-inches deep) wading pool too. Charcoal BBQ grill & beach chairs provided. INTERIOR: What a lovely place! There's dental crown molding, pale blue walls, hardwood floors, soft sofas & indoor table seating for 10 (more seating on the deck). The kitchen is well equipped for those who love to cook, luxe bathrooms with pretty tile too. BEACH ACCESS: It’s an easy, 6-minute walk to the beautiful beach. NEIGHBORHOOD & VIEWS: The Plantation at St. George is a natural Florida gem. Hiking, biking trails galore, quiet/private vibe everywhere. A short drive or beach walk takes you to the jetty for a good view of the sunset. You can see the sunrise through Lefty Jewel's living room window! The peaceful & mostly shaded island paths are well-maintained. We brought bikes & had fun exploring the lovely trails. HOST Danielle was responsive & welcoming. We received a helpful document that covered getting to the island and everything about the house. We highly recommend Lefty’s Jewel and hope to stay there again.

Our time at Lefty's Jewel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lefty's Jewel and St. George Island. The property was nicely decorated and maintained. Danielle was an excellent host who promptly responded to our questions and inquiries. Although we were not on the beach, we had a great ocean view and a lovely pool to laze around and the fenced yard was something we were looking for as we were traveling with our new dog for the first time. It was nice to be able to let her roam around the yard while we lounged around the pool. The house has a lot of steps which sometimes left us a little winded but hanging out on the third-floor balcony, looking at the ocean made it worth it.
