Peaceful Getaway
We loved our stay at Mt Wayo Retreat. I went with my family and my sisters family. We had such a peaceful stay at this property. The pictures online don't do this property justice as it is soo much nicer in real life!! Poppy was very easy to communicate with and answer any of my questions. The place is extremely spacious for families. The kids loved the golf course and seeing the Alpacas walking by everyday. It was a lovely experience. The property was very clean and neat. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to getaway from a busy lifestyle for a few days. I will definitely come back and will refer friends and family as well.

A beautiful place to unwind

Fabulous weekend getaway and close to nature!
The property was big enough to accommodate 4 families. We were 8 adults and 2 kids. The house is beautiful with full view windows in bedrooms seemingly like you are sleeping under the sky. Kids had games and Alpaca visits in the morning to keep them excited and engaged 😁. Movie room had so many collection of movies and the speakers in the room gave the perfect effects. The kitchen had all the necessary pans to cook our meals and we enjoyed it together at the balcony.
Overall its a great place to spend some quite time with family and friends. The photos don't do justice, so you must experience the place yourself!

A beautiful retreat
The Mount Wayo Retreat is a hidden gem. My family and I stayed there for the weekend as a gift for my fathers 60th birthday and we were blown away with the privacy and luxury that this place has to offer. There is literally not another house within 500m in any direction of this house and the vista when the sun comes up, during the day, and then when the sun goes down cannot be described in words.
Poppy, the owner, went out of her way to make sure we had the perfect stay. She was extremely helpful and friendly during the booking process and made our stay that much more enjoyable.
If you are looking for a weekend getaway for you and your family, this is the place to go. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Great stay at Mount Wayo Retrat!
Poppy's place is wonderful, and a perfect location for a nice and quiet time. We enjoyed the amazing features of the house (cinema room and gym!), which is large enough for 12 people in very comfortable and cosy conditions. The kitchen and living area are perfectly fit to enjoy family or group activities. Everything is done by Poppy to guarantee a perfect stay. There is even nice toys for the kids and a golf range for everybody! We strongly recommend this place and would love to come back very soon.
