We had a wonderful long weekend staying here. It was the perfect base from which to explore the Bellarine Peninsula and it’s many attractions. The hosts were generous and gracious. Highly recommend.
Very well presented premises with lots of room for children and adults to play. Thank you for the breakfast treats, bacon eggs and bread and butter, just made the stay easy. All enjoyed the solace.
We stayed at the Yellow House with friends for a weekend getaway & loved it. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed & more. It's in a great position on the Bellarine Peninsula, central to everything.
We stayed at the yellow house for our wedding weekend and got ready there on the Saturday!! The property was amazing! Was the best base for the wedding and super easy to check in and check out. We had the best weekend and would 10/10 recommend staying here!
A very well presented and maintained farm style cottage in a delightful location with access to the vineyard and olive grove and distant views of Port Phillip Bay. ideal for a family of eight.
An amazing property that I stayed at with my groomsmen. Great property for pre-wedding photos and very convenient for getting to Merne. Highly recommend the property and the bacon and eggs weee much appreciated.
We absolutely loved staying at this accommodation. It was in a beautiful location and was gorgeous inside. We stayed with my bridal party before getting married at Merne and on our wedding night. Highly recommended.
Fourth family holiday here, and it feels like a home away from home. So comfortable, cosy, and relaxing. Such wonderful views in all directions. Peta is lovely to deal with, helpful, responsive and accommodating. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Third visit to this cosy, well appointed cottage amongst the vines. Roaring fire, lovely views, and serenity. Lots of outdoor space for the kids to play. Peta is responsive and helpful.
Great facilities and setup. Everything we needed to cook and clean was included. Kids had a fantastic time playing uno, dominoes and cricket in the backyard (we brought the cricket set). We would definitely come back and stay again. Thanks.
Great location, house is very comfy and kitchen is well equipped. Great breakfast provisions. Had issues getting the TV to play any streaming services. Fly screens need an update as became overrun with flies, mosquitos and spiders at night.
I booked the property for 2 nights for my daughter’s wedding at Merne. My daughter, myself and grandma stayed the night before the wedding to chill and enjoy the ambiance of the cottage and surrounds before the big day. Bridesmaids, makeup artists and hairdressers all arrived the next day to spend the morning getting ready.
The venue was super close for myself and the rest of the family to return to after the wedding festivities finished.
Lovely big house with lots of character.
Perfect for bridal parties getting ready for a wedding on the Bellarine.
I stayed in the extra bedroom which was a separate dwelling just next to the main house. My family stayed in the main house. The seperate dwelling is a lovely room. Nice and modern with a very generous sized bathroom.
The main house offers beautiful views and a nice garden with a large lawn to enjoy.
Would recommend staying here if you’re needing a place to stay for a large group.
This property is exactly as described, nestled in a private spot among farmland, overseeing a vineyard, sheep grazing. Protected by trees and with ocean views, this was the perfect place to come back to after exploring the many wineries and distilleries of the region. Our only mistake? not leaving ourselves a day just to soak in the peaceful space that has been created. A well appointed kitchen, fantastic dining space and a cosy lounge we enjoyed our time here and really and to ensure we dragged ourselves away to catch flights home!
We loved absolutely loved our stay at Peta’s cottage and were reluctant to leave the peace and tranquility. Although the cottage is located on a working farm, we were not bothered at all during the day and it was so magical to wander the site after hours as the sun set. Mannerim is well located in the middle of the Bellarine and an easy drive to all the local towns. The rail trail entry is a couple of kms up the road. Note for anyone with limited mobility, there are a couple of small steps onto the veranda. Watching the sunrise over the bay from the bedroom windows/ verandah made this cottage worth the price of entry. Thank you Peta and her colleagues for providing such a lovely space to make lifelong memories.

An inviting and relaxing home surrounded by breathtaking vines, trees and nature.
I stayed at the Lighthouse Olive Oil Cottage during my wedding weekend. My expectations of the property exceeded anything I could of asked for during such a special time. The home itself has everything you need in terms of facilities. It is clean and fresh and as soon as you walk in you feel at home. You then walk outside and are surrounded by beautiful vines, trees, birds singing and pure serenity. Peta is extremely hospitable and made us feel at ease from the very beginning. I truly believe these kinds of experiences are made extra special based on the people/hosts looking after you and for that, our experience was more than we could of imagined. Thank you Peta and your team, we're already trying to plan another stay! xo
