The six hundred square foot great room has a soaring ceiling, fireplace, interior balcony, and multiple French doors and windows to overlook the beautiful southeast view over Tanglewood and Lenox. The deck and screened porch, off the gourmet kitchen, offer dining al fresco and panoramic mountain views of sunset and sunrise. A very unique home based in the classics with 4500 sq ft of easy living on almost 2 acres.

Situated minutes from Downtown Lenox, this country chic home is great for entertaining friends and family, while offering a calm, secluded and romantic setting upon a hill. All bedrooms are en suite for an elegant Berkshires weekend and longterm vacation getaway, year-round. Large interior doors and huge exterior windows create a loft-like feeling in every room.


The bold design is balanced with traditional shingle style elements and reminiscient of the famous W.G. Low House in Bristol, RI, designed by McKim, Mead, White in 1887.

This house was built in 2003 with quality materials inside and out, and includes a three-car garage, a media/recreational room, and fantastic guest quarters on different levels. Top of the line appliances and granite counters in the kitchen, and central air throughout for modern living. It is located on one of the most beautiful roads in Lenox, MA.

Hailing from Miami, Florida, we were introduced to the Berkshires over 30 years ago and have been returning annually ever since. We have family reunions here every winter as a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, while enjoying the rich cultural and historical attractions of the Berkshires.

Perfect place for a long weekend

This beautiful home has amazing views and an open set up that works perfectly for spending quality time together. We enjoyed the fireplace and the teens enjoyed the ping pong and television in the basement. We had plenty of room in the main living area for dinner and family game night!

Truly Amazing

This house is exactly as pictured and described. It is beautifully appointed and perfectly located. We could walk to Tanglewood, as well as hear the concerts from the porch and deck, and were within close proximity to museums and music/theatre venues. Everything was immaculate and well stocked. One of the nicest homes we have every stayed in!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We used this property as overflow for family that could not fit in the family house in Stockbridge. What a perfect location and perfect spot to have Christmas in. The house is spotless, well stocked and all the beds are very comfortable. Great place, you won’t regret coming here!

The Best Thanksgiving

Everything was close to perfect and the kitchen well appointed. We had our kids and 3 grandkids with us (ages 4,8 and 9) and we all spread out and had our space. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table and since it snowed- had fun sledding and playing outside on the beautiful property.

Great House for Family

We had a great time at this lovely Berkshires property. It was close to the ski mountain we were going to (Butternut) and had everything we needed during our stay. Beautiful views. Only issue was that the kitchen was a bit small for such a large house and had dated appliances, a few of which should probably be replaced sometime in the near future. But overall, great house!

We had a wonderful time staying here for a long weekend. Everything was exactly as highlighted in the pictures. It was wonderful to light a fire and hang inside during a blustery, winter day. We can't wait to come back.

Loved staying here. Our first vrbo experience and we were nervous but was better than we could have hoped. The house is immaculate and spacious and beautifully decorated. The views and location are fabulous and so much space!! Perfect for a family or a group of friends - so much better than relying on a lobby of a hotel. Because of Covid we were denied lake access but that is NOT the fault of the owner of this house it’s just an fyi until this pandemic is over. It would have been nice to swim. Hopefully will be back

A wonderful time in the Berkshires

This was an absolutely fabulous house rental in the Berkshires during the summer of 2020. We were an extended family with 4 adults and 5 children, ranging in age from 5 to 17. The space was more than adequate for us, and the availability of a bathroom for each bedroom was particularly welcome. The great room was the focal point for all of our indoor activities, and the outdoor deck was wonderful and a terrific space for grilling and dinner in the nice weather. The teenagers enjoyed the downstairs game room and the lawn was a perfect place for family games. Proximity to historic Lenox center was a plus, and we found lots to do even during a pandemic-altered Berkshire summer. Communications with the property manager were efficient, clear, and helpful.

Lenox getaway

The house was quite beautiful. It was clean and well stocked. There wasa great pool table for the kids and we enjoyed the lovely living room fireplace. The manager was very communicative and someone arrived as soon we got there to show us around. The only minor issue with the house was that iit was very cold when we first arrived and this caused a pipe to freeze in one of the bathrooms. It eventually defrosted, but we did not have access tot that bathroom the first day we were there. All else was wonderiful!

Renters, Beware.

There were two main issues with the house, both of which are serious deal breakers for my renting of any property. I will provide a fair and balanced review, and let the HomeAway community judge for itself. First, the house was not thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. The floors on the main and upstairs areas were gritty, there were dust bunnies everywhere, the dining room table was sticky and grimy, and the utensil holder in the kitchen drawer was disgusting. We had to start wiping down the floors before everyone else arrived. The Lysol wipes were almost black everywhere I used them. Note, that we don’t wear shoes inside the house, so maybe someone who wears shoes indoors wouldn’t feel it? Unsure, but still, the house was not in acceptable condition. While beautiful, I wouldn’t have eaten on that dining room table with the dirt, nor should the kids. The bathrooms and kitchen were generally clean except that the condition of the drawer utensil holder caused me to think that the utensils were dirty too. More cleaning. The worst of the cleanliness issue was on the ground floor/basement. There were TENS of dead bugs and many live ones. It’s possible that the grit on the basement floor was from the fumigation spray that the owner told me was used the day before, but why would we be left to clean up a bunch of dead bugs? Don’t you spray and then clean up the mess? Bizarre. When I contacted the owner, she told me that there is a millipede infestation in the area and that even though the house is secured, these bugs get into the house. I understand that when you’re surrounded by trees and nature that you’re going to get some bugs, but when a renter has to sweep up multiples of tens of bugs, then the live ones continue to crawl (yes - I even found a dead one in one of my bags when I got home), and you’re forced to not use the full downstairs where there are two futons and a pool table??? The whole vacation living situation changes. Kids had to sleep in the living room. We still made the best of our time. Here’s the fair and balanced part - the house itself is very pretty and good for a large group (except for the cleanliness and bugs). The location to Tanglewood is unbeatable. You can actually hear certain concerts from the patio. Views are spectacular. Central AC. Good appliances. Given these issues, the owner only refunded the housekeeping fee, but nothing more, despite the “infestation” (her words, not mine). Your call.

Wonderful stay in the Berkshires

Our family of 14 had a wonderful 6 day stay at this beautiful home in the Berkshires. It is located just steps from Tanglewood and is situated to benefit from the glorious views. The open main rooms, including a very well-equipped kitchen, plus the lovely screened porch and huge deck worked extremely well for our large group. There are four excellent ensuite bedrooms, well designed for couples. The two extra sleeping spaces might be appropriate for young people, but we found them not to be ideal for the couples in our group. We also found the tight parking situation at the top of the driveway to be a bit difficult to navigate. All in all, we had a great time and are happy to recommend the house.

Beautiful home near Tanglewood

This lovely home had all the amenities and location that we were looking for to accommodate our family. The kitchen was great and allowed us to cook a dinner one night for 16 people. Adults sat inside while the kids had a perfect view of the hills and greenery from the great patio where they sat. Since we were so close to Tanglewood, one evening we witnessed fabulous fireworks from our patio and sometimes we were able to hear the music as well. During our stay, we hit an extreme heat wave and thankfully, the air-conditioning worked well. From our home away from home, we were able to do all the activities that we enjoy and everyone found our special week together to be another wonderful getaway.

Perfect Berkshire Home

We had a fantastic stay at this home. The house was literally steps away from Tanglewood and we could hear the music from the porch if the wind blew the right way. The home was clean, spacious and homey. We loved relaxing on the screened-in porch after a busy day. We had a wonderful weekend and hope to return again next year. The hosts were very knowledgable and easy to work with. Thank you for making our stay so much fun.

Well equipped house in Lenox, close to everything

This was a great week for our large group of 12. The setting is beautiful with an amazing view every morning. There is a great mud room when you enter for storing all your snow and ski gear. The house had a well-stocked kitchen (equipment wise) that allowed us to cook all meals in. There were enough bedrooms to sleep all of us, although I would suggest changing out more of the double beds for 2 twins to increase the flexibility. Everything was easy to use, including the heating, W&D, tvs, kitchen appliances. (A hot tub would greatly add to the experience.) I didn't give the house a 5 because it is very live, and you can hear everything in the main room, making it hard to have multiple conversations. I would also remove the house plants. One of them had little flying bugs that were very annoying.
