This is a beautiful house. When you drive up it's a definite WOW. Located in a quiet welcoming neighborhood.

The open, airy living room features comfortable new furnishings, a bright beautiful stone accent wall and fantastic floors. It's a bright sunny room with HDTV and internet.

A wall of sliding doors opens up to a large covered outdoor area with additional dining tables, chairs and comfortable seating areas overlooking a beautiful pool. The pool is heated and surrounded by lush landscaping for your privacy.

The fully stocked kitchen and dining area are open to the the living area. The nearby closet holds the washer/dryer. Beyond is access to a 2 car garage.

The split floor plan provides privacy for the 3 bedrooms. These are tastefully decorated for that warm homey feeling. The master bath has a shower and whirlpool tub.

One guest room has a Queen bed and the third room has two twin beds and a shared bath.

This is an outstanding vacation experience filled with comfort, privacy, convenience and visual beauty.

Nearby Shamrock Park and Nature Center offers an 80-acre preserve which links up with a 10-mile bike trail.

Visit beautiful downtown Venice Island. Stroll the palm-tree lined streets where you'll
find unique shops and dining. Sarasota is 25 minutes away, Tampa 1.5 hours and Orlando about 2 hours.

Great family spot!

Venice Family Vacation

The house worked out we for our family. Our grandson loved the pool. The house had loads of books, games and beach supplies which helped make our stay enjoyable.Jerry was very responsive to any questions/requests.

Really enjoyed my stay. Very clean, comfortable bed, and used the pool a lot with my grandson. Great open floor plan and plenty of essentials. Fun in Venice

Nice home close to everything. Pool was heated to the perfect temperature. The home is perfect for families. We had special circumstances because of a hurricane and Jerry worked with us to make our vacation as nice as we had hoped. Thank you Jerry and Wally for working with us and making our stay so very nice.

Comfortable Home

Very comfortable and reasonably well equipped. But probably needing to be updated which I believe is to happen soon. Not a lot of room around pool for sunbathing so only one sun lounger. Very noisy due to proximity to Shamrock which is main road in South Venice. But excellent value for money.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. We have relatives there, and were close to everyone. Also, found some new restaurants. The beach is gorgeous. ... fun for those hot days and warm evenings. The house was quiet and cool and relaxing.

Great property for vacationing family

We enjoyed our stay at this property for 8 nights. It was clean and bug free. Two refrigerators were great for extra beverages. On the 4th night, the air stopped working. My husband called the property manager and the issue was fixed within 30 minutes. TV in the 2 single bedroom didnt work. Pool and outside lunau was great! Would stay there again.

We had a great stay! The house is nice and roomy and close to beaches. When we did have a problem with the pool, Bud responded quickly and fixed it. The water does smell and the house could use a good “spring” cleaning. We would stay here again though.

Property was as listed. Pool was great. Nice quiet area other than the new house being built next door. Every morning at 8am the dump truck was unloading dirt. Hose was clean and well maintained. Its been a bit since we rented in this area. Other than the over inflated taxes and vrbo costs i think we got what we paid for. We would look at this property again in the future.

Water Smells of Sulfur

This was a decent property that was just a bit tired and could have used a deep clean. The water smelled of sulphur the entire week and it really made the house have a faint odor. We had to get water for brushing our teeth as it was just too much. The beds were very comfortable. We also really liked being a short walk from tennis courts and a great walking trail.

Nice home close to everything you would want or need

The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The second refrigerator in the garage and the filtered water and ice maker in the kitchen refrigerator was a welcomed perk to this unit. The house was in a neighborhood that was safe and calm. Pool was warm and clean, but the furniture surrounding the pool was minimal due to the small pool deck space. A previous issue reported in a review regarding towels and sheets has been resolved. We needed one repair that was handled quickly and to our satisfaction. I would recommend this property and consider booking it again.

A tale of two properties

The property is clean indoors and the pool is nice. The negative the exterior and grounds of the property. The positives: the pool, the cleanliness indoors, Bud the host contact, and the location to the Venice waterway park for bicycling. The negatives: the property grounds are not being maintained, there is debris on the garage side of the house, the lawn and landscaping looks nothing like the pictures and is overgrow. The interior is worn in many places. We are planning a trip much like this one for next April and this house is not in the running for the visit. It would not take much to fix this property, but it does not seem to be in the plans.

Perfect on many levels!

We loved it! Great location… close to everything. Very clean, right down to the grout in the shower! Bed is very comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. Beautifully decorated..very detailed. We really enjoyed the pool and outdoor area. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. We definitely recommend and would stay here again. Great place to stay in Venice

We had a great time! The house and pool were clean and well stocked. Communication was very quick and easy. The location was great. It was less than 10 minutes to downtown Venice and the beach. We would definitely stay here again.
