Beachtime! Top Floor End Unit Studio Overlooking Marina!

Beachtime!, on St Thomas is a beautiful studio condo at the gated Sapphire Village, sitting on the top floor of the building and looking over the turquoise waters of Sapphire Marina and Sapphire Beach. This building has the shortest walk to Sapphire Beach in the Sapphire Village complex. Walks from the upper buildings are quite extreme, consider this in your booking. The views looking out over the Caribbean Sea while you enjoy your evening drinks are spectacular. We love watching the sail boats take off for their evening cruises.

Beachtime is located on the East End of St. Thomas, where all of the action is! When you first pull into the driveway of the resort on top of the hill, your breathe will be taken away at the view of the turquoise waters, and islands in the distance. Both the night life of Red Hook ($2.00 Safari Cab ride away), or the Sapphire Beach Marina and all it's island tours and water sports, are steps away.

There are two pools on the property to cool off, one of which has Sudi’s restaurant and bar located nearby. If you want a fine dining experience, or listen to an evening band hop over to Red Hook, a 2 minute drive.

Beachtime is perfectly suited for a couple or single traveler. We have set it up with everything you would need for your stay. A 50" smart TV with a Beachtime Netflix profile, Roku and your own private WIFI, and a fully stocked kitchen for some quick meals. We also provide 2 beach chairs, beach towels, 2 snorkel masks, and a cooler for your travels to the beach 🏝.

This condo was absolutely perfect for us! The balcony was just spectacular - great view of the marina which was fun to watch especially in the evenings and could see the bay too. Quick walk to all the restaurants and Sapphire Beach. Hope to stay again!

Wonderful get away spot!

Great condo for a great price!

The condo is the lowest building in the in village which make it VERY easy to get to Sapphire beach. Unfortunately, if you want to catch the $1 taxis that means you need to walk up the hills; which still isn't that bad. My husband and I come to St. Thomas every year and try to stay at Sapphire all the time. It's a beautiful area and very centrally located. The owner John is awesome to work with. He communicated with us regularly and you can not beat the price for the area! The view from the balcony is amazing! Thanks John!!

Perfect View, Perfect Stay🏝️

We stayed in John’s condo 3 weeks ago & not a day goes by that I don’t dream of being there! Staying on the hill above Sapphire Beach was was a very good choice. The condo was perfect for 2 people and everything in it was well maintained and comfortable. We loved the walk in shower, plenty pressure, hot water & drained perfectly. I am an early riser so watching the sun come up over the marina with coffee was just what I needed. Being the condo on the end gave the balcony a nice breeze, although my husband said a ceiling fan would be a good addition. Sudi’s is across the parking lot and offers a variety of good food & drinks. The walk to the beach takes no time and Sapphire Beach has the prettiest water in St Thomas, my favorite!! Plenty of food options nearby in Red Hook and down on the beach. I could go on and on about how pleased we were with the condo & interaction with John, we will definitely stay there again if available 😎

Wonderful property. Has everything you would need. This was our first time to the Virgin Islands so there was lots to see. Wish we would have taken more time to stay right there on Sapphire beach which is beautiful with a bar and other shops. Also ate at the on-site restaurant, Sudis which was nice.

Vacation Memories

Perfect for a party of two! Quiet at the condo but fun in the sun just a few feet away. This was our first visit to the islands but definitely not our last. Everyone we encountered- from locals to vacationers- were very friendly. Mr. John Degen communicates often and replies quickly if you need to reach out. It was amazing and we highly recommend!

Great place to relax

The owner was very responsive and helpful during our stay! Taxi stand with taxis waiting was onsite so it was easy getting back and forth to Red Hook for ferry to St John, grocery store and variety of restaurants. Enjoyed the two restaurants and coffee shop within walking distance on the property at Sapphire Beach. The coffee shop has ATM and other essential items to purchase. Condo was fully equipped and we loved using the beach chairs! Overall very nice and highly recommended..

Great place, great view, friendly locals.

Everything was as it said it was. Still a lot of stores closed because of COVID but some were open and were very glad to see us! We met a local on our stay here and became friends. Everyone was very helpful and just as friendly as can be. Awesome place!

The rental process was easy, the condo was in good shape and clean. John provided just about everything we needed and was readily available when we had questions. Location was awesome,close enough to Redhook but far enough away to be more quiet and secluded. Having the 2 pools and restaurant/bars available was awesome when we didn’t want to go out. The pools were well maintained as was the general property.

My wife and I stayed at Beachtime for me to run in the 8 Tuff Miles race on St. John. Beachtime is a great location, our unit is perfect and has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. It is also located near the office and laundry facilities (which we did use) and we met some very nice neighbors in other units while we enjoyed our stay. John the owner keeps in very good contact with you making sure you have what you need, and we appreciate his contact. We did rent a car and took full advantage of our freedom that way. We were also able to WALK to Red Hook and the St. John Ferry dock or restaurants (daylight is ok doing that, the evening can be a bit scary) but it was nice to walk there and catch a $4 cab back to Beachtime. We are definatly staying there again!

We have been travelling to most of the Caribbean islands for the past 20 years of our marriage. We found the island of St Thomas to be the most centrally located to take boat tours to many of the other British Virgin Islands and enjoy the day. Plus you don't need a US Passport! We also feel St Thomas has the best beaches in the Caribbean. Both Lindquist and Magens Bay are two of the most spectacular white sand beaches we have ever found. A day trip to St. Johns will get you to Trunk Bay, and THE best beach you will ever see. We finally decided to buy a piece of this paradise for our family to enjoy, and we hope others will as well.

Why they chose this property

We found the Sapphire Beach area to be the best location on the island. It is only a 10-20 minute drive to Lindquist and Magens Bay. About a 5 minute drive to Coral World on the north side. Red Hook is only 5 minutes away, has many shops and restaurants, and the ferry to St Johns in there also. . Location, location, location!
