Parking area plowed nicely for our arrival of 4 days. We had great communication w the family who owns it. It was really clean, beds super comfy, showers great. Lots of room. Each gal had a bed to themselves. Great rates. Kitchen huge and well stocked w p
A great property, located within 30 minutes of Lost Trail. Close to one of the few restaurants in the valley, easy to access and fully loaded for a great stay.
Great location for local adventuring in Bitterroot.
We enjoyed our stay here in this carefully renovated older home. It was a great home base while our family adventured in Bitterroot National Forest and other local areas. Spacious and clean!
The name of this property say it all. It is the perfect spot to base your next outdoor adventure! This was my second stay at this location with the first being for work nearby. The hosts are very easy to deal with and quick to respond with any questions or concerns. I will definitely be back!
This was a second stay for three couples who used this as a base to cross country and downhill ski. Since this was a repeat trip, it shows how pleased we are with the comfort, cleanliness and welcoming feeling of this house. I have no hesitation to recommend it to anyone in the future.
Nice old place. Quiet. Spacious very good parking area. It fit our crew just perfect. We will be back next time we are in the area for recreation thank you !!
This house was our home base for a Lost Trail ski weekend. Clean, warm, lots of room. The owner was amazing with communication, check in and check out, and even left us a special treat. The house is well-decorated but not overly so like other properties that leave you no empty drawers or surfaces for your things. I never leave reviews but this place is so fantastic I'm making an exception! I would definitely stay here again.
This property was ideal for what we wanted. Everything was there to make our stay enjoyable. Being fishermen, we certainly enjoyed being able to was our dirty fishing clothes! The kitchen was completely stocked which made it easy to fix our meals and clean up afterwards. The host was quick to respond to any questions that we had. We will definitely visit this house again.
My relations and I had a great week at the West Fork cabin. The cabin or house was just perfect for our trip. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds and the furniture were very comfortable and there were enough for everyone to have their own space.
The kitchen had everything we needed to easily fix all our meals and there was a washer and dryer to wash our dirty fishing gear.
The West Fork was just an easy walk away which made it easy to start fishing in the morning.
The Host was very responsive to our questions and requests.
The purpose of our trip was to ski Lost Trail mountain. The house was only 30 minutes from the mountain. And the house is only 30 minutes from Hamilton which is a larger town with restaurants and grocery stores (we bought food for breakfast and dinners). For us it's location was perfect. The house is older with some updates. There was plenty of room for all and having 2 bathrooms worked out great. This was the first time using VRBO and I was a little nervous. Everything worked out perfectly, check-in and check-out was simple. When I communicated with the owner, she was quick to respond. I would not hesitate to rent again. If you are a skier I highly recommend Lost Trail. The skiing was fantastic, no lines and great price for tickets.
The house was great and met our needs for our fishing in the Bitterroot Valley. All of what is needed for a vacation house was in place. We had access to the West Fork just out the backdoor that fished well.
Our family was celebrating a milestone birthday for our dad up the mountain towards Alta. After several searches, this house seemed the perfect fit for our stay. Central to the event, close to Darby, with the gorgeous river being the house, Boy, was it! The home was Clean and recently renovated. It was perfect!! Even more impressive than the house, was the communication with Gayla. Couldn’t have asked for a better host! If you’re looking to spend time in the Bitterroot, want to see a few elk and deer, this is the place!
Very comfortable and well appointed. It served as a perfect base for three couples skiing at Lost Trail Ski Area. The beds were exceptionally comfortable.
The house was great, with lots of beds and plenty of room for multiple families or a group to spread out. We were a group of 5 that was a mix of family and friends. The kitchen is very well stocked with enough plates, etc. for up to 8 people, and lots of towels in the bathrooms which was much appreciated as we visited the hot springs in the area. We used the house as a home base for 3 days of skiing at Lost Trail. Its an easy 30 minute drive to the skit mtn, and 1.5 hours to the Missoula airport if you are flying in. There is also wonderful family of deer that visits the field next to the house daily. The driveway is huge with plenty of room for multiple cars, trailers, etc. We would recommend the property and hope to be back in the summer to fly fish and hike!!
We chose the property for the Thanksgiving weekend and could not have asked for more. Beautiful surroundings. Even had a doe and two fawns in the yard each morning and evening.
This house is perfect for a family or just a few couples wanting to get away. Lots of room for people to just spread out, and do your own thing. But also has a wonderful sitting area so we could get together and visit, play games, and just hang out. The kitchen is fully stocked with what you would need. The driveway is large and we were able to fit several vehicles and a trailer with our snowmobiles with no problem. Easy access to all main roads, and just 22 miles from the ski hill and hot springs. Would highly recommend you won’t be sorry!
