Come Enjoy Tranquility In The Forest In Tahoe

We have for rent a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house. No loud parties please. Our place is close to South Lake Tahoe and Heavenly Ski resort. Walk out the front door to the national forest hiking trail, and down the street from the lake, restaurants and Casinos. You’ll love our place because of the comfy beds, the gourmet kitchen, the coziness and how quiet the neighborhood is. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with children). Please remember to sign rental agreement.

My family really enjoyed our stay in this home. It is in a really convenient location in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. I was really impressed that the host, Joan, provided everything you could possibly need in terms of bedding, utensils, pots/pans, board games, playpen/crib, beach towels, charger ports. There was even a goodie basket! She was super communicative upon arrival and departure, making sure we had everything we needed. The house was very clean and we felt very much “at home”. I can’t wait to visit again on our next trip to Tahoe.

Very nice place in a great location.

We (4 guys) had a great stay. It was nice having 4 bedrooms, so we each had our own space. One of the bedrooms had a bunk bed and twin, which would be perfect for kids. The house has been updated very nicely and the garage makes a very nice bonus room. The location is also a plus, being close to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place- close to everything.

Joans place was perfect for what we were looking for. It felt like home, so much so that I didn’t want to leave! Everything is labeled so you know where it goes, and she has great instructions on how to work the TVs which was very helpful. They had shampoo and soap for you to use in the showers, and plenty of extra blankets. Would stay here again!

Incredible birthday getaway

We took a family trip to celebrate my son‘s 25th birthday and watch the Super Bowl. Although the game did not turn out quite as we had hoped, we still had a great time. The property was very clean and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Joan is a fantastic host. She’s a great communicator, and was able to accommodate every request we had. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a good time in Tahoe.

Perfect ski get away

The house is perfectly situated for hitting the slopes at Heavenly, so close to the Boulder Lodge lifts. (Which was our favorite lift area.) The home was clean, spacious and stocked with necessities inclusing blankets (some even heated) , towels, toiletries and kitchen supplies. (Bonus was the home was decorated for Christmas.) Joan was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. Hot tub was a warm treat after hitting the mountain and the large area in front of the fireplace was ideal to gather and talk story. Would highly recommend this place for families and friends who want a home away from home.

Lake tahoe 2023

The cabin was beautiful. Very clean. The location was really close to the lake. I did appreciate the amenities it had ( especially the cooking stuff ). Was not a fan of having to put a $1,000 deposit on something that already has damage deposit / insurance. But overall it was a 9. It would have being a perfect 10 if it was not for that mandatory $1,000 deposit. .

The hous3 was amazing! But please take pictures of the place when u leave because the house keeper is shady. They are charging us for damage that we did not do. Must be a racial thing because we were black she treated us with an attitude when she came over.. they didn't provide us with any paper towels and with only 2 rolls of toilet paper..i would think twice about staying here the owner is not trustworthy. Also my friend slipped and fell and hurt her back and owner didnt care. They just want out money to fix stuff that precious people broke. So be very careful with this place. Bathrooms were dirty and one bedroom had an ant problem. Owner never apol8gized to his at all..sed we broke a futon and tv when all we did was open it!! Beware renters!!

Retreat during quarantine!

The house was perfect for the 7 of us, we all had a great time. We enjoyed the hot tub, cooking, provided snow equipment. It was snowing the day we left and we got to enjoy building a snowman.

My family and I stayed at this house for 2 nights. We enjoyed the quite neighborhood and the proximity to “The Strip”. It comfortably slept 10 adults. We spent most our time at the beaches but we did play Uno and watch TV at night. There’s a large gas grill we used to cook one of the nights. It’s not pictured but is listed in the description. I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I stayed at your beautiful rental in preparation for my daughter's wedding. We wanted to stay local for convenience since we all live down the hill in Roseville/Lincoln area. The house and surrounding area is gorgeous and I'm sure my daughter will have lovely pre wedding pictures to remember her special day. I can't think of any improvements. Everything was readily accessible and the caretakers left their number for any questions or additional needs. Very helpful. We had had a wonderful experience! 🤵👰💍🍾

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property so we could come up to Tahoe and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoy coming up here and relaxing in our quite backyard and sitting on the peaceful beaches in South Lake Tahoe and Nevada beach!

What makes this property unique

We are unique because we are close to the ski resort (Heavenly), close to South Lake Tahoe, hiking and the casinos. We are located a few house away from the national forest, it's nice to be able to walk out our door and walk straight in the forest to go hiking.
