The Sunday River Retreat, overlooks 7 of Sunday River’s 8 ski-able peaks. From the 8-person hot tub watch the groomers get the slopes ready for another great day of riding.

This spacious fully furnished house with 6 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths is more than just a home away from home with 24-foot cathedral ceilings, hard wood floors, large dining room, full kitchen, 8-person hot tub, smart TV, high speed internet, pool table, foosball, ping-pong and much more. Located off the beaten path, it is still just a 10-minute drive to the Sunday River Ski Resort and 15 minutes to the historic Bethel village.

On the main floor is the family room, kitchen, dining room, half bath and 2 bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and dresser. One bedroom has an additional set of bunk beds. The kitchen is fully equipped for many guests and includes a stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot and many other cooking accessories.

Unwind while watching TV or your favorite movie, or just curl up with your favorite book and beverage. Two sliding glass doors open to a huge deck where you will find a relaxing 8-person hot tub, gas grill and room to spread out. Covered ski storage is available off the front porch.

On the upper level you will find 2 full baths and 4 bedrooms: 3 bedrooms have a queen-size bed and dresser, the 4th bedroom has 2 twin beds.

On the lower level you will find a game room and washer & dryer. This game room has lots to do with foosball, ping pong, pool table, smart TV, DVD, board games and books.

Towels, and sheets/bedding for all beds is provided.

Exterior security cameras are located at the front entrance and parking area.

We rent a lot of homes and this house was one of the best house we have rented. It was clean, well stocked (kitchen, towels, sheets, etc.). Perfect short drive to ski resort, and the hot tub felt great after a day on the mountain.

New Years Sunday River

Wonderful Winter Getaway

We had an amazing ski trip staying at this house. Everything was immaculately clean when we arrived. The sitting room, giant windows overlooking Sunday river, and gas fire place were a perfect place to hang out. The hottie was perfect after a day at the mountain. The house is an easy drive to the mountain (about ten minutes) and there was plenty of parking for all staying there.

We were three dads traveling with 6 teenage kids on our annual ski road trip, and doing the best we can. This property was perfect for our group.We typically prefer to stay ski-in/ski-out, so being about 10 minutes from the mountain was a departure — but honestly, a welcome one. It was nice to be off the mountain while still close, and the views of the slopes from the hot tub and back deck were fantastic. Looking at the mountain from a distance while reliving the day’s runs became a highlight.The home is very well set up for a large group. The open main-level layout worked great, and the overlook from the second-floor bedrooms into the living area is a very cool design feature. The large foyer with ample peg hooks and shelving made gear organization easy, and the outdoor ski/snowboard closet and trash area near the entry were thoughtful, practical touches. One small but meaningful detail: plenty of peg hooks in the bedrooms — it makes a difference with a group this size.The only minor issue was the sloped driveway. We were driving a rear-wheel-drive Sprinter without 4x4, so we chose to park on the street out of caution. The owners provide gravel/salt at the top of the driveway, which was appreciated — this was more about our vehicle choice than the property itself.Overall, a great home, great setup, and a great stay. We would absolutely return.

A wonderful ski trip

We loved our stay here. We had 7 adults and 7 kids and the house was setup perfectly to accomodate multiple families with kids. We are skiers and loved the proximity yo the mountain (easy access to south ridge or Jordan) and the storage available for our gear. The view of Sunday River and hot tub were outstanding. We will definitely consider this property again in the future.

We had an amazing family trip. The house was perfect.

It was seamless. The house was beautiful and met all of our needs and beyond. The large table allowed us to all eat together. The basement was a perfect place to entertain two small toddlers and my son and I enjoyed playing ping pong. The view of the slopes were amazing and it was so convenient to Sunday River. It was a great stay.

Awesome ski house retreat

Myself and 15 (yes, 15) others had an awesome time at this house. Great views of the mountain, big hot tub, plenty of amenities for a large group. Sleeping space was abundant and the home provides a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. The landlord is excellent to work with! Highly recommended.
