Tahoe Woods Penthouse is a lavish vacation home rental in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. You will find a variety of activities close by. This home is in the heart of Heavenly Village, so shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The lake and Heavenly Ski Resort are both within a 5 minute walk or a quick car ride. Enjoy swimming or boating on warmer days and hit the slopes during winter.

This property has all the amenities a modern family might want such as flat screen televisions and superfast Wi-Fi. There's a stone gas fireplace surrounded by contemporary furniture in the living room perfect for catching up, and a rear deck directly off the kitchen perfect for barbequing an alfresco dinner while you enjoy the view of the surrounding tall pines. The chef in the family will enjoy preparing meals in the large open kitchen complete with modern appliances and all the utensils you may need. When its time to relax for the evening turn on a movie while you relax by the fire.

Down the hall from the living room you'll find the master bedroom with its king size bed and ensuite complete with jetted tub, dual sinks, and glass enclosed shower and a 55" Roku smart TV. A bunk room can be found on this same level with a full bed on bottom and a twin bed on top. A third bedroom will also be found on this level with a Queen size bed and nearby full bath down the hallway. A short walk downstairs will uncover the laundry room and a fourth bedroom with two queen sized beds and a Roku smart TV.

Guests will have access to park 1 car in the garage and 1 in the driveway, but no street parking is allowed. The bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom are not ideal for most adults as they have low clearance. Enjoy the slot machine but know that it is for novelty purposes only, no real money play.

Great location w/ lots of little issues

The house was clean and in a great location. It was spacious and walkable to the main area. The issues with the house, none of them incredibly inconvenient but all adding up to consistent issues. The issues were: - [ ] Bar stools broken - [ ] Dining room chairs broke - [ ] Toaster doesn’t work - [ ] Downstairs air doesn’t work - [ ] Oven mits have holes in them - [ ] Sofa cushions are ripped - [ ] Outlets in master bathroom don’t work - [ ] Washer and dryer don’t turn on (we found this out after we had already put detergent on our clothes and then had to wash them in the tub) - [ ] Ignition switch on grill is broken

Very nice condo and great location

No complaints! Condo is very nicely decorated and functional. Also, at a great location - walking distance to lots of restaurants, stores, casinos and the Heavenly Gondola.

Fantastic layout in a great location!

My family of adult skiers and my two littles (2-5) were all so comfortable in this home. Keeping the kids out of trouble was easy - no sharp corners or breakable sculptures! All the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well-appointed. We loved the easy walk to the Heavenly Gondola. One note - there are a lot of stairs to bring your things (or your two-year-old) up and down, but it worked well for us.
