Private Getaway

If you’re looking to have a secluded getaway that’s still close enough to Boone and plenty of hikes then this is the place. The house was very clean and cozy and the hot tub was the cherry on top!

Peaceful and relaxing

This cabin was wonderful! We were given lots of information about the area before we arrived. Everything was clean (including the hot tub), the beds were comfy, and the location was peaceful and perfect. We also really appreciated the paved "driveway" and paved parking - it made everything so easy. I would definitely stay here again.

From the owner: "Nina, I'm so glad you all enjoyed your stay! I like to share our favorite places with our guests. It has taken us over four years to find these little gems, and I want our guests to have the best experience possible. And yes, we agree, a clean hot tub is as important as a clean house (if not more so), so we are constantly refilling it with new chemicals. Paving the driveway has been a game changer. It makes a world of difference!! We hope you visit Dancing Bear again!"

Great Location

Great location! Close to all the activities we wanted to do. The cabin was just the right size for what we were looking for. Just the right amount of privacy. Driveway was a little tough in a full size pickup truck.

Cabin in the woods

The property was very well maintained. The owners even decorated for Christmas; it was adorable! We found a little deer trail to take the pups on each morning, used the hot tub each day and went exploring into the little towns and attractions in the area. I would recommend this for short getaways!!

Great family vacation!

We had a wonderful, quiet, relaxing time at this mountain cabin getaway. It was clean and comfortable for our family of six, and the property matched the photos and description. (No surprises.) The host was attentive and easy to work with. We will definitely consider staying here again.
